Cryptarc leaves me a nice little legendary package everytime i level him up. But there's a problem
Hes lvl 14 thus far, im continually receiving legendary gift packages from him. But each and every time without fail everything that comes from those packages is always either rare, or useless. Which at my lvl are the same thing. Never have i received anything legendary from his packages described falsely as legendary.

Just like other loot in the game, check out the possible contents before redeeming it. It's entirely possibly to get Rare Loot in packages if it's labeled that way.

1 ReplyI agree this is a frustrating issue. Leveling him up to almost always get Blue items. my cryptarch is somewhere in the low to mid 30's and at this point I just expect to get nothing but Blues.

I'm level 40 with the fool. Level makes no difference at all, it's all random just like everything else in the game.

1 ReplyThe patch for legendary items was applied only to the engrams picked up or rewarded in game. That is normal for the legendary letters. I have had blues decode into legendary items. I believe I am level 30 -31 with the Cryptarch and still I get the same chance as you could for items.
