Gamers... Ask yourself. # 1 Do I play PvP to best the other team and/or opponents (FFA) to win the match? # 2 Do I play for a random chance to get some loot? If the answer is # 2...then you are doing it wrong. OP... Once players realize that the real award for a PvP match is the actual "winning" of the match...

  • Unless your me, getting matched up with noobs walking around with thumbs up their asses, losing at a 1:5 w/l ratio, loot drops are the only damn worthy thing in crucible. And is there a way to check your w/l percentage?

  • Exactly, thank you. That's what I was trying to explain as what I felt was Bungie's design logic. I am most certainly NOT defending it as if it's a perfect system or the best way to go about it.

  • I think you are right on the enticement aspect. It really is an innovative idea on the part of the developers. Ultimately, it adds to the PVP experience... provided one keeps it in perspective. I like the thrill of seeing what I might get.

  • I'm not sure how innovative it is as much it's trying to shift focus onto the actual gameplay of the competition. In my opinion at least.
