How much exotic stuff do you have?
i have 6 weapons and 5 armor pieces on this character. 4 more armor pieces for my other classes.
i got 3 exotic weapons on strikes (tiger, i only do about 4-5 in a row) 2 bought from xur and 1 exotic bounty. 8 of my 9 armor pieces were bought with strange coins 1 was from a strike.

Red death, hard light, invective, and the sunsinger gauntlets. And that's with a 27 warlock and a 24 Titan. My rng luck sucks. Hard light was the first 'surprise' drop which was gifted to me for an underwhelming performance in the Crucible.

I have 7 exotic weapons 4 being from the bounties 2 from the agent of the nine and 1 from a legendary engram. I only have 2 exotic armor items both helmets from Xur.
