Ive loved the Warlock Since Ive seen it at E3 and played with the Wizard on the Beta. Its Something About the Warlock and PvP though. The Warlock is way under Armored and makes it very hard to Compete against two Warrior Classes. Agility doesnt give me kills when Im getting shot gunned down and cant give a quick two hit melee. The Void Walker is Very Very under powered and the Tracker Axion Bolts move to slow. My PvP stats have gotten so Much better now that I have a Hunter and Im not getting chopped down at 1/2 the speed my Warlock was. The Warlocks powers show that it is a Upclose and mid range fighter but its Powers say otherwise. The Void Walkers Melee should be a One hit every time to compete against shotguns because it doesnt have the Armor like the other two classes. Void walker needs a sticky grenade. One of the Powers of Nova Bomb should of Been Void Gun, which throws the power of the void into any gun your using and shoots Void Bombs that explode on Impact into little Void Grenades. Really I could do a stress test on a Warlock to show everyone how week it is compared to the other two. Yes sunsinger isnt have bad it has a One hit melee and sticky nads but Void Walker is Missing something and The Warlocks need a Boost in armor stat definitely because when your stick getting chopped down at mid range with a Auto Rifle and I cant kill either class with a Scout Rifle with all head shots & they kill me first theres something wrong definitely. Warlocks need more magic and more powerful magic because there way to weak, recovery and Agility dont mean teetee when you cant stay alive. What bothers me the most is Bungies lack of listening but they Nerf everything else to make it weaker they need to Nerk the warlock to make him stronger, Ive noticed a Big Difference in My K/D from switching Characters and using the same Guns. Or is the crucible even all the way around for each character? The Void Walker for PvP is way Under powered Melee and grenades. Ive been noticing too every PvP game I play theres less and Less Warlocks on the Battle field. Theres maybe One per team if that, most of the time Im encountering 3 hunters and 2 titans or 4 Titans One warlock or 3 titans One hunter or 4 hunters One warlock or 4 hunter one Titan. My point is there the Wizard and they dont feel that Magical or powerful to me. To Compete with Shotguns they should have one Hit Void Melee. Also they need a Boost in Armor stat. The Titan is Armor/Recovery... The Warlock is Recovery/Agility... Hunter is Armor/Agility. Well Recovery is pretty pointless in PvP when your getting hit by 3 guys. Ive noticed you tried putting subclass around those two stats for the warlock like Recovery/Agility= life drain and recovery classes, agility because thats like the magic part but it sucks when you cant stay alive to Nova 3 guys. The Warlock is my Favorite Class and I feel like hes Under powered and since ive been using the Hunter I can say that hes my New Favorite class. Life Drain doesnt work fast enough in PvP and most warlocks that do play PvP play as a sun Singer because there stronger. Its really sad too because Void Walker is the Attack class and SunSinger is the Team class Support class. Bungie you really need to fix this and look at your Stats there less and less Warlocks on the Battlefield as we speak because were tired of Dying so Fast...

2 RepliesI have no problem with my warlock. I don't even know what you are saying. armor makes no deference in crucible, I don't think it even makes a deference in pve either.

3 RepliesDude you need to stop whining...all classes are pretty even....the only thing I've noticed is that where are all the titans going? I played 4 matches in a row where I was the only titan (i was not in the same lobby each time)...they're definitely the least used.

I don't play as one that often, but I've seen warlocks completely own PvP matches. I've also seen them get completely shit on over and over again throughout the entire match. You gotta know how to play your class, man. Spec correctly in both your character and your weapons.

Edited by XIII Doc IIIX: 10/22/2014 10:13:01 PMWarlocks are the only class with the abity to get an overshield from melee, not a kill, just a hit. And its spamable with the right gear. My lock is 27 and is ruthless in the crucible. You can survive a point blank shottie if you hit melee first, then you shottie back and poof you win and don't die. And the health regen is faster than the other classes. Point is every class has strengths and weaknesses. Just have to learn them.

My warlock is my primary character, and I also have a titan. The playing styles are different, but kills are kills. Go kill something. I love PvP, and my warlock made it to Rank 3 in the Iron Banner just fine. If Voidwalket isn't getting you anywhere, get Sunsinger. We're not meant to be gods.

3 RepliesEdited by JereBear: 10/22/2014 9:29:05 PMYou need to search a youtuber called dattodoesdestiny. He proves that armor is almost completely irrelevant in PVP, and describes the usefulness of agiliry and recovery in PVP too

1 ReplyWaaaa my warlocks underpowered waaaa my mile long melee should be one hit Waaa my giant ranged area damage void grenade isn't good enough Waaa I just suck at pvp

5 RepliesDude, try playing another class before you say one is op/up. Warlock melee is incredible.

5 RepliesTldr. I have zero issue with my warlock PvP or pve

As a main class Warlock w/ Void Walker and Sunsinger maxed, I can confirm you are just a poor player. Warlocks are very OP in PvP AND PvE. I average almost twice the number of kills on Strikes than the other two members of my team and I never drop below 3rd in the Crucible with an average 1st or 2nd place a majority of the time. If you haven't found the right combination of abilities to maximize your Void Walker, then you're doing it WRONG.
