So these mythical "hardcore gamer vets" had "similar gear" not the same gear but similar. These Vets have any clue about what was required to complete the raid? How to perform in the battles, what weaknesses the enemies had?
I take back the genius comment, you're a moron. You do so much research? Start backing it up with some proof. Better still stop replying to others on the forum as you are less than a waste of time.

Ok now you make it sound like the bungie devs all had mythos all sporting raid Armour and shoot laser beams out of there eyes and how long do you think a regular group of players can beat the vault with out knowing what to do and how to handle it. When me and my friends started the raid for the first time we had on idea what to do. We were like a bunch of chickens with there heads cut off. All im sayings is bungie had the knowledge and gear to complete the raid in 48 mins compared to the vets who had no idea what to do.
