The explanation is understandable but it still needs a healthy medium. At minimum the top contributor of each team should get something. Trying hard just to see that your team sucks and you all don't win does not make me want to play with that team again. At least some reward for trying to get my team over the hump will entice me to stay and keep trying with this pile if turds. Also, the social point is mute if I can not interact with people with real words...
