In my perfect world, George RR Martin would finish [i]A Song of Ice and Fire[/i] tomorrow and get to writing Destiny. I feel like the fantasy-medieval style he's been writing for a while would translate over pretty well, considering Destiny feels half and half on sci-fi and fantasy already. Plus I'm pretty sure he's written some fairly successful sci-fi stuff before, so he wouldn't be going into a new genre blind.
