Vex. Mythoclast Raid drop chance.
Mann I've done the raid on hard many times an keep getting these dumb ships lol
what are the chances of getting a Vex mythoclash.
Also I know it's nerfed but I like the way it shoots/looks an it would complete my raid gear.

4 RepliesI did atheon 12 times before getting Vex. My Roommate got it his 11th time. We do the raid together every time. Out of 14 total tries ive seen the vex drop 3 times. Once for a friend and the other 2 were mine and my roommate. All comes down to luck in my opinion. My friend does the raid 6 times a week. Does all 3 characters on Tuesday. Puts gear in Vault maxes out 3 new characters. Puts on gear does it 3 more times. Then repeats every week. Im sure he has done done it over 20 times and he still has no vex.

I have completed hard mode 3 times got got the Vex Mythoclast 3 times... Dismantling it felt weird...

1 ReplyDid hard mode 5 times last night. Mostly friends needing help, and groups running alts. Only takes 1 hr a run so I don't mind. Anyways. I got my Vex for the first time, of my 4th week raiding. I only ever see it not drop for 2 times out of 9 kills(both of which I was not able to receive loot) so I was wondering if I was targeted to receive it in loot table and why no one got it. Our 2nd to last kill last night 2 people got it. So it seems like it is not restricted to just 1 person a raid. Loot wise is completely random. Only way to have a higher chance of getting it, is to solo push him off till they fix it or use less people which better's your odds. Seems like at least one person always gets it.

7 RepliesFriend has done the VoG on hard 6 times, he's received the Vex 5 of those times. While I have done the VoG on hard 8-10 times and have not yet received one. RNG, or Bungie giving crappy players better loot. It's your decision which to go with.

5 RepliesIt's not that great after the nerf. Mines not completely upgraded though so I'm hoping it gets better. Right now though way too small of a clip, and even though base stats show good stability, the thing recoils all over the place...

5 RepliesI got mine first try. I had a VERY VERY lucky loot grab on that raid though (2 chest pieces, fatebringer, warlock helm, raid ship, vex and shards). Played with a guy last night who just got his vex this weekend and it was his 15th or 16th time doing the raid on hard mode -__- crazy stuff. He has leveled and deleted multiple characters if you're wondering how that many is possible haha

8 RepliesEdited by Izeria: 10/22/2014 4:18:25 PMHead piece, 6 type of raid weapons, random exotic, ship, sparrow, shader, shards and Vex. That's pretty much Hard Atheons loot table. So with some basic math, the chance of getting Vex on each item rolled after Atheon kill is give or take <10%> So for example if you get 3 items after the kill, each item has a <10%> chance of being Vex. If one of the 3 rolls is a Vex, the other 2 rolls will not be, since only 1 Vex drops at a time (this i'm not 100% sure about) The number isn't static since the number of loot rolled at the end is (surprise) random. Vex divided by the entire loot table plus the rng number of items rolled at the end is the number you're looking for. Item 1: Shards (Rng misses Vex) Item 2: Vex (Rng hits Vex) Item 3: Epilogue (This and the rest of the rolls cannot be Vex, since it has already been rolled) Ps. Players getting Vex multible times in a row should try lottery or something.
