Know what would be an awesome addition to Destiny?
These 20 things
1. Create custom game types. (Strikes, Crucible matches, strikes… etc.)
2. Option to invite to clan in game + in game clan support.
3. Option for off line play. (You know, when it's time to play in the zoo?)
4. Voice chat with team in PVP. (you still have the option to mute players you don’t like)
5. Voice chat someway (any way) with non fire team members in the tower. (you still have the option to mute players you don’t like)
6. Voice chat someway (any way) with non fire team members in the field. (you still have the option to mute players you don’t like)
7. A less cumbersome way to join fire teams (i.e. NOT going up to orbit then coming back down)
8. Job board in the tower so people can enlist help for active missions and bounties and/or look for group members.
9. Trade with other players.
10. Optional matchmaking for heroic strike missions and every other aspect of the game that bizarrely does not have it.
11. Matchmaking for every game type.
12. Bosses have GUARANTEED loot drops commensurate with the difficulty.
13. Have guaranteed loot rewards for top performing players in the crucible; keep the randomized blues/greens for lower performing players.
14. Option to use sliders to change my armor color scheme after purchasing a shader. Or change my character hairstyle.
15. An in game map. (we can talk to the robot guy on the tower, should be able to access a map when we are planet side as well)
16. An in game codex that explains lore, tech, enemies, guardians etc. Shouldn’t have to go to a website to find out about the game. Give me a list of my grimorie cards IN-GAME NOT ON YOUR WEBSITE OR APP.
17. Option to continue a mission from where the previous mission ended and NOT go up to orbit only to come back down and retread the same ground.
18. Monthly FREE episodic content that reveals more of the story.
19. Master audio controls, sfx, music, etc.
20. Social hubs on planets. Something akin to a Guardian outpost where we can trade, resupply, have a dance party, etc.

Sorry dude, anyone who gets off arguing on the internet isn't in the best position. I've had co-workers like that and they weren't really great to be around. I have a girlfriend of 4 years! Thinking about proposing, not sure yet. Hearthstone is a great game, have they added anything since Naxx? Haven't played it in a while. I agree that salary sucks, but I'm not talking about salary. I'm saying that someone comes up to you and is like "Make me this, these are the requierements, blah blah blah, have it done by August 2015, we will pay you 500K + bonus for etc" Then you can finish it whenever you want (typically faster) and have multiple contracts at a time. I've worked hourly too, and while it is way better than salary, I've never loved anything more than contracts. It's kinda like freelancing. Sorta. Well duh, but in real life. If games were only those who played the most and were the best were rewarded, the whole community would be dominated by the select few who get paid to play games and that is actually their job. It is nice knowing that whether you play one hour or 100 hours a week, you still have a chance to beat the other one. When it comes to real life, my philosophy is more like "work or don't eat", but that's cause life is a dominant scene. Entertainment shouldn't. God no. -blam!- welfare and unemployment. Hell, I've even debated avoiding taxes by holding the money overseas. Rather not risk jail time though...for now.
-
Well you've proved you are a rational human being. I respect that. And I understand where you are coming from. And no nothing new since nax. But I did read something about another expansion before december. Hopefully that's true. But you are incorrect, I do enjoy my life. If I didnt, I'd be an idiot. (Basically because as an agnostic life would be pointless without some entertainment!)
-
Well, I guess you did too. I might've come off as a bit angry, but it's hard not to when you get on these treads sometime. Damn. I love hearthstone but after a while, I get so tired of it haha. It is a blast playing on a touchscreen laptop though. Same with Magic. Fair enough. I have to go though, so see ya. Have fun!
-
Dude the RNG in this game is just plain stupid.
-
Then don't play. I love RNG and I know many others who do. It's a fair way to keep the game balanced and fair.
-
It needs to be modified, the fact that it's my 17th time through this raid and haven't gotten a single piece of raid gear is bullshit. People have gotten full raid gear in 2 runs. It can stay random, but maybe make it less random.
-
Except the game isn't fair or balanced. It's great that you don't have a problem with it, but their are many many people who do. Well I havnt played it for almost a month already, because of various reasons, but I enjoyed it while it lasted. I hope that it will get better, but the future doesn't look too bright for this game.
-
Youre the minority, the future looks very bright for this game. Is this your first bungie game?
-
What makes you think I'm the minority? From the forums it's clear that the majority opinion of this game is that it's on the worse side of things. The majority of people simply aren't informed or don't care enough to do anything. The people that do, are here on these forums and on other sites. These are the people that bungie is hearing. That includes you and me.
-
Many of you comprise of like less than 10% of Destiny's player pool. It is fair. Everyone has the same chance of getting Hawkmoon. Or A blue engram. Etc. Eh, I already bought the expansion pass. I'm in it for the long haul.
-
Personally speaking here - destiny is already a ruined game... substantial amount of the player base (from day 1) have already moved on to newer games or switched back to older ones not yet completed (i count myself in that count as the constant disconnects got to me). They say its a 10 year game, but within the first 2 months they've had to change alot of important items. Now you can take the view as i have that they -blam!-ed up and know it... thus the rash of patches, or that they are making snappy decisions to make the game a better place. I like many will monitor these forums (and update info) and return when something substantial is done about what we personally hate about the game (ie. For me its disconnects for others the loot, some merely dislike the lack of social features). End of the day its just a game... not life or death... not anything of great importance.
-
They already changed the engrams once, they knew they -blam!-ed up, it's only a matter of time...
-
That's cause too many 9 year olds made their parents call Bungie. Whenever the game gets too easy though that's probably when a lot more will leave. Happened with WoW, will happen to all.
-
That's cause too many 9 year olds made their parents call Bungie. Whenever the game gets too easy though that's probably when a lot more will leave. Happened with WoW, will happen to all.
Yea great answer to that one.
-
Well obviously I used sarcasm, but it is true. People complained about wow too and when they made it the shit that it is today (holding your hand through the whole game), people started leaving in masses. If destiny gets any easier, theyll lose more than win.
-
And how exactly did you get that number? Granted the amount of people on this forum is not the entire player base, but it is clear that a very vocal and growing amount of people are very disappointed and dissatisfied with how the game turned out and the way it is appearing to go in the future. You cannot honestly sit there and say this game is not woefully lacking.
-
It's not perfect, but no game is. Considering the comments are only about 20k per post and there are over 2 million players...well you can do the math. People who like the game generally don't come on forums and whine.
-
Yes, obviously, but what you fail to understand is that you and the people who don't say anything, good or bad about the game are not even being heard by bungie at all. Bungie can only ever respond to feedback whether good or bad. And at the moment, the critical feedback is more profound and louder then the positive feedback. That's just reality.
-
The drop rate ini this game is almost killing the game for me... I have been hunting for the Hawkmoon for a long ass time now and have yet to get it. It is not good game design to make me play 500 hours for that one gun no matter how you spin it. Randomness is a cheap and lazy way to add gameplay hours, it's like they are saying that they don't have enough faith in their game so they need to be stingy with the rewards in order to keep us playing.

Snap your disc before I do it for you #filthycasual
-
Funny how ppl that throw the word casual around doesn't seem to know the meaning.
-
Don't** #re-blam!-intard

I want Hawkmoon too, but I know in due time I'll get it. It is your fault if you want to focus on farming and waste away in a loot cave. I've gotten all my drops through normal gameplay, not farming. Also, they also have Xur which sells you weapons every week, and I personally have a hate/love relationship with him but whatever, it's a tiny "fix" for people like you.

Edited by TheDoomrider: 10/21/2014 11:02:58 PMI have never used the farm cave, I have earned everything I got and I spend my time in Strikes and Crucible, do my bounties every day as well as every Nightfall, Weekly Heroic, daily. I have also completed 5 Raids. Been leveling up the Cryptarc, Crucible, Vanguard and Dead Orbit. The Exotics I have: Suros Regime Ice Breaker Red Death Bad Juju Thorn Plan C Pocket infinity Thunderlord Gjallarhorn Truth Invective Super good advice But no Hawkmoon It will probably be the last one I get when I am so sick and tired of the game that it doesn't even matter at that time, which is sad. Or when DLCs have arrived so much better stuff that all of a sudden it is too underpowered. Why can't I have it when I am still heavily invested in the game? I will probably get the Monte Carlo, Hard Light, Last Word and Patience and Time long before I see the Hawkmoon.
-
Eh, it happens. I have the same thing. But it will be ok. You'll get it with time.
