As someone who hasn't been able to tackle the VoG yet mainly because I don't have a fireteam, the upcoming changes to it make me nervous that I'm not going to get to try it. I agree that an exploit that allows the boss to fall off the screen (from what I hear) needs to go, but I ask myself when I finally can get my act together to ask for help to do the VoG, will veterans who have ran through it 100 times be willing to do it with me even though they don't know me all that well? I keep hearing how these changes will discourage teams to take on new members for whatever reason. I hope the rumblings that these changes will discourage first timers from being recruited aren't true. So to you VoG raid vets out there is that true? Do the VoG changes, minus the boss bumping, discourage raid teams taking on new members or is that paranoid banter?
