My Military Life. BIG QUESTION!

Ok. My parents are in the military, so I'm used to moving. The thing is, am I happy to move to Texas? HECK YES!!!! I have never been more happy in my life! I am currently 15 years old and am a sophomore in high school. i have never been to a real city or high school in 6 years! Our first station was Germany. Not going to complain. It was a great cultural experience. I liked it. 3 years of my life was spent there and I grew up there. So you can guess that I have German culture in my life. Then after, I was told we were moving to California. I was really happy. Then I realized that it was all a mistake. We are on the border of Nevada, 2 hours away from Las Vegas, and 30 minuets away from Death Valley. The closest city is Barstow. It is the most shiz city I have ever been too. So not only was I in German cities for 3 years, now I only get to go to either a shiz city or a military city, which isn't great. 3 years in this horrible place have passed. Now we get to move again. This time tho, we get to move to San Antonio, Texas. I absolutely love this! The high school looks like a college, and there is everything I could want. Is it sad to think that I am excited to walk down the street to a Walmart? I haven't been to one in 6 years!!! I haven't been to a fast food restaurant or Real American stores for 6 years! I haven't been to a real school in 6 years!!! I think you can guess how excited I am to move. I have a huge question. What is it like in the real world these days? Is there something I should know about a real high school? Is the fast food even good? Are there cute girls? Thanks!
I STILL CANT BELIEVE IM MOVING!
• My grandparents live just outside Fredericksburg Texas (if you liked Germany, you'll like Fredericksburg), it's about 70 miles north of San Antonio... I used to spend my summers in Texas at their ranch, and we would go to San Antonio on the weekends. It's a great city (probably my favorite city in Texas, Ft. Worth is a close second). The atmosphere/culture is amazing, plus it's Texas so the people are great. Also "Mi Tierra" is one of the best places you will ever eat (if you like Tex-Mex food). -ShadowWolf
P.S. If you'd like to learn about Texas history, then Austin is a good place to start. However, don't listen to people who say that it's the best place in Texas, or that it's the only "normal" city in Texas, because quiet frankly it's a weird city, and pretty out of place when it comes to Texas cities.

P.P.S. If you ever do go to Fredericksburg, be sure to stop by the "Admiral Nimitz Museum". It's a neat place, especially if you like WW 2 history.
