Swords and Shields as PVE only weapons.
For those who have wielded the Sword of Crota and the Relic Shield, many guardians would enjoy the idea of using weapons like these at all times. However, because of how powerful these weapons are it would be tricky to balance them out for the Crucible. So the question here is how can bring these these weapons into the norm without breaking the game's balance? Well... they can be just be PVE weapons only; that way no one would need to worry about an imbalance against other players. Though I guess there could be unique Crucible modes that could allow them; like a 3 vs 3 horde mode or something like. Anyways I think that this suggestion could add more depth to Destiny's gameplay, but I wanna know what you guys think as well as other idea that could work with this.

yes, if bungie add sword and many other weapons like sword and shield destiny take an opportunity to add more player and so much more fun new weapons like sword=new style the balance with other player are various if you love sniper and long range your guest but if i love sword and revolver why not or sniper for long range and sword for close combat its juste another ways for this game ;D
