trade in motes of light for strange coins, yes?!
Motes of light are almost useless. We should at least have an option to trade them in for ascendant materials and strange coins. Because honest to god, the speaker rarely has cool stuff. To be fair, cap it. We can only trade so much for the stuff a week. That's fair right? I'm not complaining or having an "emotional episode" but they just done get you dick squat.

I would like to vice versa that. I want to buy notes of light with coins. Just so I can buy what I want from the speaker (or chest engram from Xur, if he had it this week, for chances at that Praxic Fire). Strange coins be easier to acquire than notes of light. You either get one once in a while from a blue or legendary engram, or just grinding experience. But every week you can do the weekly and get 9 coins guaranteed! More if you have multiple characters!

today... Xur doesn't sell anything that allowed Mote of Light as currency. Public event now drop Mote of Light instead of Accendant Materials.... I don't get it...

It might devalue ascendant materials or strange coins. I believe motes are going to play s bigger role soon. Maybe it can be used for a wager mode? For holiday items? I'd say save them. Ascendant materials and coins are hard to come buy and show it. When you see a level 30, you should be impressed (or disgusted) with how much time they put in grinding to get them.
