I put a ton of hours into this game up until the beginning of this week, now I get the caterpillar and hawk codes constantly. I manually reset my router ports and was able to play last night for a bit before bee code frustrations set in. Now this morning I load the game to start a daily strike mission and back to caterpillar codes again constantly, I'm even getting booted off of Xbox live! I can play NHL and COD with no issues what so ever, what the hell is going on?
Note: I can be in the tower running around for about 20 mins before I get kicked to orbit or offline altogether. While playing a mission, patrol, or crucible match I get kicked after about 5 minutes.

Edited by timsmeds: 10/19/2014 8:20:57 PMSo I did even more research and talked to a few people and they suggested this: "delete the game from the HD and clear the cache on the Xbox. Then use a CPU or smartphone to go into the router to clear the ports and reopen them manually. Finally reboot the router, plug the Xbox in, and download the game again". I've only had a caterpillar error code once in the few hours I've been playing which is awesome, all things considered. If you don't know how to get into your router go to portforwarding.com and choose your router brand and follow the directions. That's all I did and it seemed to work. However I've heard once you shut down your Xbox you'll have to redo the same process, whether that's true or not I haven't tested it.
