Is this community never satisfied? Constantly wanting more and more to make the game easier... the whole term "Want in one hand and shit in the other" doesnt even apply to this community because theyre getting what they want every week.

Problem is most of the community is silently playing because they did get what they wanted, or at least a possible version of what they wanted. However a vocal minority is hammering the forums and getting Bungie to do things for them that actually hurts the rest of the community. If I recall right 3 million people play Destiny in an average week, yet you really only see a few thousand routinely crying.

Thats a few thousand posts, but almost all those posts end up trending because there are thousands of more commenting liking and agreeing with the people who are bitching about things. I seriously blame the CoD community. No matter how out of style blaming the CoD players is, its true nonetheless. Most of them are crying about all sorts of stuff because theyre casuals to a game like this and theyre asking for nerfs and for people to cater to them by pretty much handing them things. Hell theyre the ones who cried about VoG and now Bungie has taken it upon themselves to completely -blam!- VoG up that all the strategies people came up with are being changed now. Whats the point in having a strategy to this game now? Its all being thrown back in our faces and were essentially being told to "-blam!- off" because the developers are pissed that people are beating their master piece with such ease.

Yea really sucks, we paid for a game, and are asking for improvements. The guys who developed the game should just wipe their hands clean and say well "f*** it". One this isn't wanting more, this is suggesting a different approach. Im guessing you have multiple characters? What about those who don't? Think more about others, brother ;). Improving games is what these guys live for. It's the people who whine about being destroyed by a special weapon so the weapon gets nerf'd instead of the way these people were getting it. This is a constant process on both sides. They make adjustments, the community gives feedback. Did I not compliment the mechanics of the game? I think I did. I love this game by the way. One of the best games I have played since I first received a Sega Genesis. Mario 64 definitely beats you out though ;).

Im not just talking about you, I understand the frustration of buying the exotic engrams or any engrams for that matter, I used to have one character my first engram I bought gave me Heart of the Praxic Fire, my warlock at the time was level 15 it took me around a month before I got around to leveling it to 20. Im just saying suggestions or not people are not happy with what they have now, youve been given free legendaries to even help kickstart a new character (Queens Wrath), some people used it as a shard farm, others used it like me to help kickstart new characters past 20. Them giving you gear for other characters is a good thing because one day youll be thinking "man I wish I had some stuff for my warlock so its not such a grind at level 20 again". In reality though, people are trying to make the game easier, therefore in the long run ruining the game. Casuals are whats ruining the game. Im not doggin on you specifically your post just happen to be the one that made me crack. Good suggestions, I just dont agree.

I really appreciate your opinion. Let me ask this than, how does getting to choose between 2-4 pieces of armor, (class related) or weapons make it easier? I'm not asking for them to increase the percentage of the drop? I'm just suggesting a method every gamer not just those with little time to play three character. Also, the queens guard missions, were not free. It took time to earn those pieces and they were not always guaranteed. If you had received a class related exotic engram, it still would have taken you a month to get to 20, so what's the difference if the engrams were class specific? What if you didn't get to choose but it would at least be guaranteed for your class? Still not easy to have enough motes of light, get a exotic/legendary engram drop, or get an exotic bounty.

The only answer I can truly come up with is that you would be able to instantly get 26 just by having 5 engrams therefore ending the grind. Thats all I can come up with. Although it only takes 5 hours and 45 minutes max to get to level 20 from scratch. And queens wrath only gave you two pieces of gear (helm and chest) and was easily soloable within 10 minutes. I know its past so there is no point in arguing or truly mentioning it atm, but I would leave the mission and go back into it and it would change the misison I was given by Queens Wrath. So i could keep doing it till I had the very first mission on Earth given to me, which there were only like 5 missions it chose from anyways. I think the main reason they made it random is so that when you do get those engrams that you wont for sure be level 26 right at the start of having a level 20 and that they want people to actually spend time playing multiple classes not just one. The topic on the exotic bounties however, I used to think it was impossible to get them, this was a week ago that I said this... in the past week I have gotten every exotic bounty except for one. I had to the choice to get it but I didnt. My only info on that is to turn in a few bounties at a time and press them as fast as you can, thats how Ive always gotten mine but thats also because I do do anything slow so.. yeah :P. Also to fund a new character its super easy to get to rank 2 to buy all your gear from one of the factions. Like in a day I can get a full level doing nothing but some strikes and bounties. I have the nightfall buff however, so it does give an increase in rep and exp gain.

Actually by getting armor for other classes, when I have gotten those classes, those characters shot to 22-23 right after 20. But the percentage of getting the drops is still very low and it took me time to get those characters up to 20 while working on my main. I'm not arguing the queens missions or exotic bounties, I have done them. I just am saying they are not free, they take time. Doing the bounty then the kill order. I am on my 7th exotic bounty. But none of what you described sounds easy. Someone who doesn't have the free time you have would not be able to do all that like you did. You can't purchase purple engrams and can only purchase them through vanguard, crucible, or faction. But still you can only get 100 marks in a week, which means you cant buy 2 out of 4 pieces until the second week and that is a long grind to get those 100 makes if you are not a level 25 for vanguard or have good weapons for crucible. Again that is not easy. I believe I will stick to my point, by changing what you get from the exotic engram or from the drop, if it is class specific, I don't see how it will become any easier to get to a higher level. No matter how you put it, it requires time and a lot of it. You do make a lot of great points btw.
