so hand cannons are just a novelty item?
i have been attempting to use the last word i got from atheon the other night and i now understand why i rarely see cannons in crucible. these things are just shit. beaten at every range by autos in every catagory. why exactly would i use one again?

1 ReplyThis is just not true. The last Word is the best Hand Cannon in the game (xbone). Have you unlocked the stability perk yet? If so you need to work on your aim.

There is a certain kind of patience you need to have to be able to wield a hand cannon well. I've used some in the past and I still currently have two in my inventory. Although it took a bit of a learning curve, I began to get the hang of them and they are a very satisfying weapon to use.

1 Replyi had almost reached the main perk but i got the thorn bounty to do so had to stop using tlw whilst i rack up my void dmg. but i was getting more used to it. i was topping the board but not as dominantly as i did with suros

Hand cannons aren't mend for long range, sure you can on some but they thrive on headshots. Your preferred range is medium to semi close range. If you can land the headshots they wont be standing long

Upgraded Thorn in PVP is loads of fun and humility for your opponents.

2 RepliesAre you serious? Get the Fatebringer with explosive rounds and that thing destroys everything in PVP. One shot makes your victim flinch and the next two finish him off before he has the chance fire back.

They actually require a smidge of skill to use lmao. You aim rather than putting a wall of bullets up. I've had no trouble using handcannons in crucible, but it does take a bit of time to adjust. [spoiler]I'm a Hunter that uses accuracy[/spoiler]

I use handcannons all the time in crucible. I don't get every shot, but I'm having a blast, no pun intended.

Yeah nobody uses these things. When I tried crucible, All everybody really uses are shotguns and fusion rifles. Pvp just isn't fun at all when everyone's trying to one hit eachother.

Last word is a beast but like EVERY exotic you gotta work to get that power. IE, lvl it the fek up.

Just won 26 games of salvage straight, with two of us running hand canons. These no issue, mid range you can dominate . It's all about head shots. And knowing your guns strengths and weaknesses .

Not a fan of them at all. I enjoy when I get killed by them now and then. Kudos to those that stick with them.

I rely on my "Devil you know" more than I would like too. I like to mix it up. But, in the end, I always reach for my handcannon

Timers lash is 2-3 shot kill. Are you aiming at their feet?

Hand cannons are awesome, they are my most used weapon and I have tons of kills with them. Like 34k I think it was.

5 RepliesI really don't want to sound like a elitist. But maybe you're just not good with hand cannons ? People get demolished by my Last Word in PVP. It's so damn fun to use. And before I had the Last Word I did very good with my Devil You Know.
