How can I get motes of light fast?
I'm having a hard time collecting motes of light, do any of you have a good strategy for finding the most motes of light as fast as possible?

Tiger strikes definitely. I had a team of 3 last night and we were completing tigers at 13 minutes each. 2 blue engrams and a blue as the strike reward. Thats roughly a blue engram every 6 minutes. On top of that, blues and better can drop while in the strike from random drops. And the cryptarch level up gives blues or better, with a cryptsrch level each hour. And all of those blues can become motes. Lets say 10% of blues become motes of light. 20 minutes per tiger strike with 3 engrams per completion. Thats almost 10 engrams an hour. Thats at least a mote an hour. Plus strange coins and some blues decrypt into legendaries.

Vanguard Tiger Strikes. The blue engrams you get occasionally convert to motes of light, and you get LOTS of blue engrams from Tiger Strikes. Plus you earn a bit of XP to boot, which gets you a single mote of light every now and again.

You get MoL everytime you fill your experience bar so try to do something that you can earn a lot of XP in such as Strikes or PvP if thats your thing along with bounties. Engrams you get will be the only other way plus mail drops to get MoL.

Beat the nightfall to get the xp bonus then do like tiger strikes or crucible and definitely do bounties

If you can consistently win crucible, this is the fastest way to get them via XP. If you want to try and get them from drops, tiger strikes are the way to go.

After lvl 20 you get a mote every time you lvl up your experience bar. Complete the nightfall to get that boost than I'd say bountys tiger strikes for the blues those possibly turn into motes. You could cave farm but that's to boring to me lol.
