As we have all seen, our weapons are quite customizable. Though, some specific armors (all types of armors Gauntlets, helmets, etc.) give very specific types of bonus munitions. The issue is that if your playstyle is more coordinated for a specific weapon and this new, better armor comes up but does not benefit your playstyle you are left with a tough decision: Do I go for better defense/light, or do I keep my weaker armor, but also is better suited for my way of play?

I suggest a system where armors can have interchangeable ammunition bonuses (Never two at the same time) in correspondence with the item's rarity. For example Common and Uncommon could have only one form of munitions bonus, Rare items could have two, Legendary items three, and exotic items 3-4.
I also feel that this system should be used for other things like weapon reloads, if we are going to change one thing we should bring out the flipside of that coin. Then again, this could be over powered if you could both have vast amounts of ammo AND increased reload, in something that isn't at the same magnitude as something like an exotic weapon.
I feel these ideas will be an excellent way of securing steady character/power progression while not hindering player performance.
Feel free to comment and give me your feed back on this matter, thank you.

I think it's a fantastic idea, and I'm actually surprised it's not already there (among many other things).
