1 ReplyEdited by dontpaniu: 10/17/2014 4:43:48 PMNice error since yesterday...I'm not able to play Destiny "...Your profile may have been signed in elsewhere" I played on the 16.10 at 6pm UTC + 1 and turned off my PS4 off. No log off from Destiny. I was standing on Venus. Power on again at 11 pm UTC + 1 and get this error. After one day...the same error, now it's the 17.10. Character will be shown and you can select one. After selection and some seconds you see this nice screen (from a other user in this thread with the same error). The login and loading takes also longer. I can see on the PSN that I played Destiny, but 10 minutes past my time. Starting the game, select a character, try to login with the character, error and if I close the game, the PSN tells me that I played it for 10 minutes. Port problems, nope. I tested this in the DMZ, the same error, behind a firewall, same error. Given the PS4 a fix IP other eth and WiFi, same error. Reset internet connection, same error. Maybe the server is holding my last connection? I can't connect with a other IP to the Destiny servers, it's a fix one. Or is there a problem witht he positions from the player if they are not in the orbit and turn the system off? Or a time sync problem? Not all players have this problem. I'm just thinking on :) Somebody writes, reset your playstation, seriously? Just a joke or :)

I`m not able to play. It`s been 24h now - I bught a game and PSN PLUS. "ATTENTION.. you have lost connection to Destiny servers..." It`s annoying cause I did not connect as well. Did I loose my money?

10 RepliesWell, I agreed with first comment, if you buy a game, that REQUIRE a internet connection and DON'T work unless you sign in a fu***** server, you SHOULD guarantee that this sh*t server will work, have backups or some other thing that allow the user to log in! Basically, I PAID for a game, that a can't play because BUNGIE can't provide authentication! And don't blame PSN, because other games are working! IT'S A DESTINY ISSUE! Please fix it ASAP, don't matter to me if it is a game or not, I paid for it, and I want to spend some time playing around! Otherwise, give me my money back! And I will play it for free, then I no longer be upset if I can't login, because I didn't paid a single cent!

Edited by sheokato: 10/18/2014 2:30:35 PMIn TRUTH all that Bungie needs to DO is look at their servers' protocol system about how they process tens of thousands of users simultaneously because the servers do not know how to respond to the influx of users and is throwing out an error to those that have been labeled in its protocols as an "unidentified" user due to the mass amount of simultaneously users. My reasoning for it being their server protocol being screwed-up is because the fixes they recommend show it: 1. They say reset your modem -> what they don't tell you is that in doing so, more times than not provides you with a new IP Address which equals your system having a "new" identification. This allows their systems to view your console as someone new but at the same time as an actual user. Issue is when the console does not make/take a new IP Address and retains its credentials which will basically cause Bungie's severs to look at your console as an unidentified/unauthorized user. So Bungie tells you to do the same bullshit again to "fix" the issue. 2. Other people have networked their console with another electronic which does exactly the same as the first and provides a new IP Address to the console. (Please look at the explanation in 1. for the reason for this working.) ISSUE!: Who the hell pays $60-90 to do extra work [extremely difficult to network a PS3 or PS4 to (ex.) a laptop due the PS's own protocol system] to play a single game when you are perfectly able to play many others online without the headache and hassle since this is NOT a PSN issue. WHAT BUNGIE should have done prior to releasing is quality testing and simulated having ten of thousands of users on a server and verified any issues that occurred. SINCE this issue has happened previously to multiply companies and the issue IS covered in college. SO their "techs" should have accounted for it in their testing Which sad to say it doesn't seem to be the case. This screw up is more than likely cause their "techs" most likely payed their way through college... or cheated... or both... [b]UPDATE::: [/b] After viewing other posts (The post by Viciouspen most stands out :: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/73656931/0/0 ), I have come to another conclusion. Bungie is using a two key protocol, where your User ID (PSN log in which Destiny requires you be signed into) is linked to your IP Address thus when people encounter the error of either being logged in somewhere else or you are already logged in, it is due to the fact that your previous IP Address is being used somewhere else or is linked up with someone else's User ID. This is the stupidest protocol that they could have put into place because of this exact reason, IP Addresses on any electronic are continuously being changed due to the way IP Addresses are assigned to an electronic. [b]BONUS UPDATE::::[/b] Just verified that it is an IP Address issue because I have tested all of the accounts on my PS3 and not one of them was able to log on and I have tested logging in on my cousin's PS3 and was able to get on. [b]BUNGIE GET YOUR S#!T TOGETHER AND HAVE A SINGLE KEY PROTOCOL AND LINK IT TO THE PSN LOG IN AND BE DONE WITH IT!!!!!![/b]

You -blam!-ing people that work at Bungie need to get your -blam!-ing head out of your ass and get the -blam!-ing dam server fix or I will sue you guy for sell a lemon of a game without checking your servers first. Just shutdown the servers, find the -blam!-ing problem and fix it god dam it.

I am not sure how the problem is resolved, I have followed every thing concerning the port forwading that i can , the static ip address procedures and I am not understanding how I am still having cattle error. I am to get on the PSN and play online but I can not play Destiny WHAT am I SUPPOSED to do, call my ISP, PSN, OR BUNGIE ???

Yeah no they're not. their are several player who can't play still can't play thanks to the marionberry issue. so... how about fixing that issue because i swear if i could i'd get my money back. Only reason i can't is because i got it digitally... but i'm quite disappointed with this game. greatest fps... whatever... the greatest fps would at least work!

10 RepliesSo much for the ULTIMATE DESTINY EXPERIENCE IS ON PLAYSTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just bought the PS4 bundle today, got PS4 home, set it up, downloaded update for PS4, Downloaded update for Destiny, Designed Character, then right after the opening sequence, I get THIS TOTAL B.S.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been Gaming since the f-ing 80's and this is the most disappointed I have EVER BEEN! Compensation better start with an apology from Sony,Bungie, and some free PSP subscription for a year or two and free expansion packs for everyone. . $450 Bundle = 0 FUN Returning system and getting Xbox 1 so that I can actually play games=Priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take your ads off the TV, you are lying!!!! False advertising is a crime you know!? Throw this a like so they know how we really feel!!!! Power to the Players!!!!!

After about 14 hours of not beeing able to log in, it worked now (12:08 UCT+1, location Germany). I hope it stays that way.
