So seriously. Give me back my Auto Rifle Damage
I never, ever in my life have seen a game change that actually affected me the way this one has.
I usually have around a 2.0 K/D in COD, Titanfall, whatever. I'm not a great player but I am a good one.
In Destiny I was more like a 1.5 K/D
I have bad dexterity in my hands, so when I shoot I only really level out the vertical aim on a player's head with the look, and then use my strafe to home in on the player. I have a hard time using pulse rifles or scout rifles because of this.
So they reduced the damgae just enough to let players get one or two more rounds into me before I can kill them, but man what a difference that makes!
I have gone from like 15-30 kills a game and 1.5 K/D to like 8-12 kills a game and around .75KD
That's not balancing, that is imbalancing. My play style was directly targeted and essentially made everything crucible related 3-5 times harder.
Bullseye streaks? 2-3 a match, now 1 per 3 matches
First blood? 1 every other match, now 1 per 6 matches
Win at crucible? Probably won 66% of my games. Now am lucky to win 33%
I've never posted here to complain about anything, but they really destroyed my gameplay so what am I supposed to do?

Chain of Woe and Gunslinger's Trance work pretty good with my Shadow Price.

Yup I agree, the majority of the complaints for AR's was the effective range. So instead of just bringing that down a notch they decided to reduce everything about the guns to pretty much make then useless.

7 RepliesTo those who dont think auto rifles were overpowered before then you don't understand much. because of how much damage an auto rifle could put out before all other guns were neglected. Please tel me the amount of people using scout rifles and pulse rifles? The auto rifle was just way to good not to use and made all others guns obsolete. An auto rifle on the same ground as a pulse rifle would always win even if i got more head shots then them. This was because of the rate of fire they could put out plus the damage each bullet did even if it did not hit the precision mark. I feel the nerf was needed, but whether or not they did to little of a nerf or to much i do not know. I can say that the vex was nerfed way to hard. And im sorry they DESTROYED your gameplay but then the auto rifle before DESTROYED my gameplay if you want to say that. I love pulse rifles but the underwhelming power to auto rifles made me pretty much have to use auto rifles to keep on lvl with others who just would shoot me down to quickly. And yes you can give me all the bullshit of GET BETTER or YOU JUST DON;T KNOW HOW TO PLAY WELL, but the facts are true EVERYONE and there mother used auto rifles. -_-

It's a scout rifle but not Just a normal scout rifle, it has a modifier which Enables full auto mode. this means you can hold down the Trigger and aim For the head. Another thing i have to Mention Is that this weapon has an absurd high stability! I think with the recent scout rifle buff this weapon would suit you well.

I'm sorry but I couldn't care less about this PVP. Auto Rifles still wreck Fallen, Vex, Hive and Cabal so I'm good.

2 RepliesMy K/D has been above 1.5 pre and post hotfix. I believe I have a 1.74 in Control, which isn't absolutely fantastic, but that's just from using the Shadow Price/ Plan C. There was a noticeable decrease in stability and my headshots are doing half the damage but I still wreck with my Shadow Price. I'd say they balanced it pretty well.
