What exactly do they do?
Will their effect work in both PvE and PvP?
What is weapon handling?
-And do they both effect weapon handling in the same manner?
I'm so confused, please help. Thank you very much.

1 ReplyEdited by Wilson9483: 1/28/2015 1:30:19 PMI just received the chosen sniper rifle yesterday and it has armor piercing rounds. So far in pve it shoots through everything. I was able to shoot two dregs hiding behind a pillar. I going to see how this works in PvP.

5 RepliesHigh caliber just make enemies stagger more often, basically prevent them from attacking. Usually it takes a set amount of damage before enemies stagger, but this reduces it. Piercing rounds allow rounds to fire through enemies and hit ones behind them, good for large crowds of hive or vex, as 1 bullet can hit more than 1 enemy. The drop in handling basically means that you are slower to: -Switch to your weapon -Switch off your weapon -Draw your weapon after sprinting -Aim your weapon -"Un-aim" your weapon That's all I can think of.

3 RepliesIn my opinion, nothing they just come up with these stupid perks that have no real value and especially PvP

1 ReplyYesterday in trials I used my sniper with ap rounds to take out two players with one shot. I didn't know that was possible until that shot.

4 RepliesI've heard people say you can shoot armor piercing through walls. Have never tested it yet though.

2 RepliesPvE: High Caliber Rounds lower the amount of damage you need to deal to an enemy to have them stagger. With a gun with this attribute, you can staggerlock most smaller enemies with precision damage, making them unable to fire back. It's a decent perk but completely useless for any content with the Angry modifier, as that removes staggering completely. PvP: High Caliber Rounds increase the amount you make an opponent flinch. Whenever you hit an opponent in the Crucible, the Impact of your gun and a flinch modifier based on the type of gun you are using are used to flinch the opponent, which makes their reticle bounce around a bit. To see the effect clearest, take any Sniper Rifle and try to aim while being shot at; the reticle jumps everywhere if you don't have Unflinching, making it very hard to hit anything. It is very noticeable when you're under fire from, say, a Heavy Machine Gun with HCR. HCR increases the amount the reticle drifts from its original point every time you hit the enemy. PvE & PvP: Armor Piercing Rounds allow all guns to overpenetrate enemies, hitting multiple at once. Sniper Rifles gain the ability to shoot through the terrain, with seemingly infinite penetration. You can shoot through, say, a thick pillar and hit a Dreg behind it. It can penetrate through mostly anything, so long as it is one solid object. You can pierce through one thick pillar but not two thin walls. These are the only effects of these perks. I have no idea how the handling changes take effect; I imagine it changes the weapon swap and ready speed.

1 ReplyAlso, would armor piercing rounds do more damage to enemies elemental shields?
