I think this is a great idea!!! Where is the flamethrower equivalent?? (Arc-thrower, void-thrower, solar-thrower)??? Where's the over the shoulder turrets and spartan-laser-esque awesomeness?!?! And yeah man all the types you mentioned too!!! And even MORE!!!!!

YEAH!!!! :D That'd be SO cool!!!! I really really like the idea of bows and swords / shields too!! You could even do a lightsaber ripoff in the same way with arc/void/solar blade.... I LOVE that Sword of Crota mission.... Too bad you only get to weild that thing for like 2 minutes

Two minutes? Pshhhhh. I ran around in circles with that thing for like 30 min swinging and gliding around. The hive had to angrily chase me while I used their fancy sword to fly around lol.
