Bungie... I've known and loved you for a long time but I'm so turned off

Fan since the first Halo. One of the best things about Bungie was its music and sound. So you lost your sound director and composer and decided to list him last on the soundtrack credit? Really? O'Donnell was the composer, the two other talented people, Salvatori and Johnson were co-writers. Should I feel lucky he was listed before Paul McCartney or at all? Could not show any respect and pay him the proper tribute? Wow! Then you give us an update on the soundtrack on 09/26, but forget to mention it is available on iTunes.
There is more to come.
Says Johnson. Really? Where? Where is Music of the Spheres? There are only excerpts on the Soundtrack. Where's Awakening? Where is the CD for those of us who want a better quality? Not a single fart is given for music lovers here. The music is the only narrative that makes sense in Destiny, the only thing that gives you an emotional response. Good luck to fill that hole in the future. Sorry for the rant, I'm just disillusioned and sad. This post will be buried by wanted ads for VOG and strike posts anyway.

I completely agree. For me, the music in every respectable Halo, and in Destiny, has always been a huge and irreplaceable part of the game, and I'm extremely disappointed to see Marty O’Donnell go. A huge part of any game is the music: if the gameplay is amazing but the music isn't very touching or emotional then I won't want to play it. Marty O’Donnell's music was just that - emotional. His music has always been extremely enjoyable to listen to, and since Halo I've always found that the music of other games doesn't have anything near the same profound impact on the experience of the game, or on me. I'm very sad that I'll no longer be able to enjoy his new works in some of my favourite games from what I once viewed as one of the best game developing companies on console (although that feeling lessened considerably after Halo Reach, but after much saltiness I was able to overlook that atrocity), and it's likely that I won't enjoy their future releases as much since one of the best things about their games is now gone. I hope that they can find someone half as good to make the music for their dlc, but an alien I remember very fondly says in my mind: "Were it so easy..."
