Bows, Vehicles and Other Weapon Types in Destiny
Edit:This post has become a bit of a hybrid encompassing all weapon and vehicle ideas for Destiny. Read what is here and if you have more ideas feel free to share!
Also feel free to like any ideas already here so as to further this post!
New ideas will be listed as follows and all new ideas will be credited to the person(s) I see posting about it.
New Weapon ideas:

Semi-auto pistols - IlIBlackoutIlI

Grenade Launcher - IlIBlackoutIlI
Laser Cannon - IlIBlackoutIlI
Melee weapons - Swords, Axes, Hammers, Scythes, Spears, Maces, and Staves. Exotics could be Katanas, Bleeding Psycho axe, Flaming warhammer, scythe that turns you into the grim reaper, etc - IlIBlackoutIlI
Melee stances. Each character goes fist/knife/magic-slap only. Faster melee speed. 0.5x more damage - IlIBlackoutIlI
Load Rifle. Rifle fires more rounds the longer the charge is held. Up to three. Like a fusion rifle but longer charge and more selectable on how much ammo you use - Candain
More mounted turret variations like rocket and gauss turrets - IlIBlackoutIlI
Emission Cannon (Sentinel Beam)- Candain
Flamethrower - FromNowOn

New Vehicle Ideas:
Rhino. Slow moving slow firing tank with huge cannon and blast radius. Turret seat and Two side seats for passengers - IlIBlackoutIlI
Eagle. Small helicopter with dual machine guns and two side seats for passengers - IlIBlackoutIlI
Badger. Small hovering vehicle capable of an upward thrust or jump. Has a slow firing highly accurate cannon that cannot zoom but can kill with a headshot or two body shots - IlIBlackoutIlI
Boar. Mid-speed vehicle with a mounted 360° machine gun and passenger seat - IlIBlackoutIlI

2 RepliesWE NEED SWORDS! I get a chub every time I use the sword of crota, we need swords with the same mechanics (they could double your movement speed and things like that, like the mida multitool).

1 ReplyI want shotguns to be added to the game. Tight shot patterns, decent range, good mid range killing tools. Bungie doesn't even need to make new models, they already have them for a different weapon type. As for that other weapon type, keep it but up the damage a lot, change out the models, move it to heavy weapons, and rename it to Blunderbuss, because that's what the current shotguns are: A weapon from the 1600s with all the precision of a nailbomb that's useless outside of spitting distance.

7 RepliesI would love to see a minigun. I know that we already have machine guns, but miniguns are cooler, deadlier and look really badass. Someplayers have said something about battle with the jumpships, so hoe about this...like call of duty after certain kills, call your jumpship to make an air syrike with bombs, machineguns etc.

1 ReplyI wouldn't mind elemental bows, or cross bows with unlimited, regenerating ammo. Since this game is in the future, have the weapon use energy instead of physical arrows as ammo.

1 ReplyI think the bow is a great idea. There can be a uncommon, rare, legendary, and exotic bow! It can be a primary weapon as well. Average Accuracy, 80% damage. There should be different types of arrows for the bow to like Sticky Semtex Grenade Arrows, Armor Piercing Arrows, Flame Arrows, And regular grenade arrows. The uncommon bow can look like a normal bow with a iron sight, the rare bow can be gold looking with a red dot sight, the legendary bow can look futuristic with a ghostly looking string, and the exotic bow can be on Flames. I think that would be epic! And it would be amazing if they bring back the needler and the energy sword
