Disconnect Fix...ish (getting hours instead of minutes, now)
I've got an Ubee 365 hardwired to my XBOX 360. TWC 30mb. Since I started the game and for weeks up until yesterday, I'd get booted every 5-10 minutes with an occasional half hour spree. Mostly Caterpillar errors, with some "disconnected from partner" and disconnects from XBOX Live mixed in. Maybe got 2 Hawks, too. I tried every fix I read about, and spoke extensively with my ISP's tech support and with XBOX Live's. Ended up with a static ip on my XBOX and having it set to DMZ in the modem. Couple days ago I also switched the DNS setting in my XBOX to manual and started using Google's (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4).
I still get occasional disconnects, mostly in the tower or crucible, but I can finally finish missions/strikes and go a few hours uninterrupted. Hope this helps.

7 RepliesI have the same router and am getting the same errors identical to your experience. I have already gone with static IP and use Google's DNS and have not seen any results. I am making my XBox the DMZ host now and will let you know if that is the difference maker. I am not familiar with DMZ. What exactly does it do and how would it help?

I always get disconnected every 15 minutes or so. Never mind now it every FUDGING 5 MINUTES
