Completly Custom Halo 3 Clock! Opinions Wanted ! ^.^ (180 Posts !)

Hey Halo Fans !
I was hoping I might be able to get some opinions (and perhaps some exposure) on a unique item I made... The original plan was to keep it for myself, but I'm curious as to the reaction of the Bungie staff If I sent it to them...
Either way, this item is 100% unique, hand crafted, and functional. If its not obvious at first glance, it is a clock. A Halo 3 clock.

It would be cool if you could: 1.get some neon lace and trace out the halo 3 symbol to make it glow 2. Use LED's to make the swords glow 3. The clock under a UV light would look awesome, I'll bet.

wow man, that is really cool, i'd buy that, it is sweet. although i thought you should make the min hand a grav hammer, but your right, it might look a little flat, any ways that is really was sweet!! :)

Nice. I'm imagining that under some black (UV) light and it seems like it'd look pretty sweet. I like the swords. While they do seem a little small to be really accurate, I don't think anything else would look right. Like you said, it's for show... not for accuracy. Maybe you could make them a little longer. Now that is amazing. Send those pictures and the video to Frankie. I'm quite sure Bungie will want a look at that, maybe work a deal with you for the schematics to it. You could be close to some moneh moneh.

That is really neat. I love RL Crafting, One of a kinds are that much more fun to create. Looks sharp, and I really like the Energy Sword hand Idea. Led Fiber optic sword glow would have been cool, but wth, and it's fine with the 4 numbers, most spartans know the numbers in between...

Using my highly technical doodle of the schematics of the Bungie HQ, I navigate to Franky's office, then, using the reflection his head, I make sure the room is clear. When he's not looking, I lower the clock onto his desk, and viola !

I know this is easier said than done but to improve would be to make one edge of the sword longer so that it is easier to tell time and also i would make the hour hand a little bit larger.

Wow, that is really nice, now I want to go out and make one. Or just steal yours..... for completely unrelated reasons could you please post your address along with a map of your house's easy to exploit breaches in security? EDIT: I might suggest a sniper rifle or maybe an AR to fill in for that second sword hand. Not that it looks bad as is but it seems odd that you would have the neat red flag going around for seconds and then have two rather hard to see swords as the other hands. Its just that my Uncle is an expert on LEDs, and runs one of the biggest distributors for them, so I know the components would be quite bulky, as I have been around LEDs for quite a while...

Lol. The LED was actually one of the things I considered... We decided against it because we figured the components and power supply would be too bulky, tho we could have used a Rebel. And yes, its a Wacom Graphire... I do some 3D modeling in my spare time... between making clocks and losing in MM.
