New Subclasses:
Well we all know that the game hasn’t been out long enough and there are many great (and terrible) things to come in the next 10 years. But however I would like to express my idea for new three subclasses and with your help: become.
After playing as all three classes and experienced some of their abilities (Some OP, some are not) , i thought of an idea of When we get to point where we finally meet the darkness, ( and NO, the floating blob of marmite from the Black garden does not count) and it’s armies, why can’t we have the abilities to use darkness against darkness OR at least use the power of light and Dark combined: Shade.
First off , let’s start with the Warlock:
Light-wielder : Arc
“Let Me , Guide you into the great beyond?”
(So in order of current sub-classes)
Grenades:
1) EMP: This grenade would not only damage the target, but disable their radar., Grenade and their Melee ability for 30 secs
2) Enlighten Sight: This grenade implodes with Burst of electricity which zaps anyone near it as well marking them for team mates (The marking will highlight the target depending on how dangerous it is. PVE upgrade: reveal targets weak Point, PVP upgrade: The Higher the target (K/D), the brighter the Highlight
3) Mimic: Deploy a decoy of yourself Or Clear!: Bring back, fallen Allies instantly
Movement: Extra Decoy
Like the other classes, you would start off with glide but the last upgrade will enable players to spawn an Decoy in mid Glide which can confuses an enemy. What i mean by this:
Let’s say if you spawn a decoy while under fire behind the pillar, the decoy will mimic whatever the player was doing (as in direction and gliding). This can allow the player to switch direction, while the enemy still thinks “You”are still gliding about
Melee ability:
The Touch: increased damage and enter an electric state to zap anyone who gets close for 30 secs
Super: Staff of Enlightenment
Enlightenment: Summon the Staff where a Light-wielder can sweep through crowds with quick melee (require two direct hits to confirm a kill unlike BDs One but longer use than BD during super) or fire bolts of lightning from the staff itself ( 4 shots which consume 25% per shot of whatever left of the super energy if used where 10% if just melee)
Second the Titan:
Suppressor: Solar
“Keeping the enemy Pinned”
(So in order of current sub-classes)
Grenades:
1) Flare: throw down an Flare which will summon 5 mortar rounds into that area
2) Radiator: Throw a grenade which radiates heat into any area. The hot heat will be enough to snuff a player out of cover
3) Assistance: deploy a sentry Gun (weak/short life span)
Movement:
Like the other classes, you would start off with jet pack but the last upgrade will enable players to swap Slide with Thrust where Suppressor can double –tap the O/B Button and Thrust a small distance in whatever direction they wish (like H: 4) but however staggers them . can help take cover quicker but will have to wait a bit before use again.
Melee ability:
Hammer: Show them petty Hunters how a real guardian throws things by throwing an explosive hammer into the faces who get in your way (Longer throwing range/more damage/ Long recharge rate.
Super: Inferno
Inferno : A Suppressor would summon a Gatling Gun made of Fire where the Suppressor will go into 3rd person (homage to H3) where their movement and jump height will decrease. Also their turning speed would be decreased as well so how you prepare to enter a room is key.
The Suppressor can fire as many Rounds he/she wants till the Super expires (a minute roughly) but however like the Cabal Colossus, the Gatling gun accuracy starts of terrible but during continuous use the accuracy would reach a reasonable state of per every 10 shots (5 misses and 5 direct hits instead of 8 Misses and 2 direct hits)
Instead of just combusting into flames like its brother (GG), The Inferno would leave mounts of ash
Lastly, the Hunter:
Beast Tamer: Void
“Even Beasts can be tamed”
I know that some of you are going to guess what i based this subclass on ( and NO it is NOT based on Borderlands)
(So in order of current sub-classes)
Grenades:
1) Smoke: throw a grenade and Cover an area in smoke. Smoke messes up anyone’s radar and their sight who are caught inside it
2) Laser Mine: throw a set of laser mine which can cut off someone’s path or just cut them into pieces if they run into it
3) Tracker: Drop a spike down which will fire a dart at any enemy that passes its range (little damage but the player will be warned, that can be tracked) , that leaves a trail of Scent behind wherever the target goes. Only Ally Hunters can see this Scent
Movement:
Like the other classes, you would start off with Jump but the last upgrade will enable players to swap Slide with a Roll where tamers will have increased agility and roll in any direction via the press of the O/B Button. But they can only Roll twice before waiting to roll again
Melee ability: Wrist- Bow
Writ-Bow: Fire an Bolt made of Void energy from a Void Bow on you’re right wrist which Poisons you’re target with void energy that staggers them / Slows them down over a period of time with min damage ( 10 Dmg per 12 seconds for 1 minute)
Super: Bird Of Prey
Kestrel: Unleash the power of void by summoning you’re Bird of prey. The Kestrel would fly around and follow you where ever you go till it expires. The Kestrel will fire Void made out of razor sharp Void feathers at hostile Targets within range of its Master with 30 DMG per successful hit.
If there is at least 50% of super energy left and its master is killed, the master can sacrifice his/her Kestrel and revive themselves
When the kestrel dies, it will give out a Victorious squawk just as it demises and when it returns to its master when it expires, it will form into the Wrist-Bow and disappear.
(Before, you start nerd-raging about me ripping off Borderlands...this idea was based on my favourite transformer: Soundwave and his pet: laserbeak combined with medieval folk-lore)

Amazing, Just amazing, Would make hunter actually useful in PvE and FINALLY a Summoner class, Although the Enlighten sight grenade for the warlock kind of makes the Hunter tracker grenade useless, also i think the Hunter wrist bow needs 50% less damage, Other than that Amazingly balanced and a great Idea, Especially the whole Bird of prey super for the hunter

5 RepliesSome ideas are awesome bro but some are a tad OP but varing a few details bungie could use some of this. Great post and I love the Phoenix type idea for hunter but maybie the revival thing would be too good so it would be balanced out with perhaps having the Phoenix shoot only a little bit or you can't use melee attacks or it drains your shield while using Phoenix

5 RepliesSo for the titans super, what if it were covered in molten lave kinda like how the sword bearers look. It would be called "The Bomber" or something. Kamikaze? I dunno. But so the Titan is all molten looking with an over shield and the enemies can shoot him but once he dies he explodes or he can detonate himself. It would have a radius as big as the Nova bomb. Upgrades for the super would be a bigger radius, burn damage for those not in the radius but close to it. Or you get to stay alive after the super.

2 RepliesI think the warlocks super should be 3 place able arc walls to defend other guardians or one huge wall and can decide to use his teammates shields (not health) to make the wall stay up longer or place over shields on his teammates. I think the warlock or hunter should somehow support other people because without the bubble titan is pretty much useless xD

1 ReplyNot bad ideas, but I think some things could be changed up, For the warlock, I think for the super, something similar to the void bomb, but would fly slowly in a straight line, shocking and slowing anyone who gets too close (not an instant kill, but damage over time) And for the jump I think it would be cool if the warlock would take arc form and dash at light speed (essentially a blink) in the direction that you're looking, instead of the direction your moving. As far as the titans go, seems alright, but instead of taking the Gatling gun, maybe a flame shield which gives extra armor which they can choose to detonate damaging/killing anyone too close to them. And for the hunter, the only things I think I'd change, would be the smoke grenade into more of a decoy grenade, which would show up on the enemy radar lol And the jump, instead of the roll, a void grappling hook, (essentially based off of the hook shot in Zelda games lol) it would pull you towards it, and you'd have the option of hanging for a couple seconds, or jumping normally from your current position. (Probably need a longer cool down than some other jumps)

3 RepliesI don't know but these seem to suck Also 30 seconds is to long. Not even the flash bang on the titan last anywhere near as long it's from like 1-6 seconds all depending on how close the grenade exploded from the person
