It's the Activision forced mentality. Happened with D3 too.

I had a rare fusion that had reload speed perk combined with special weapon reload speed from gloves and it was amazing on reload. It may take some adjustment but pocket infinity may still be usable. But I agree^ ..bungie put the nerf bat down!!!
