Fix the phalanx shield bash please
Every time a phalanx bashes his shield into my face, I lose my footing and fly directly against a wall resulting in an instant kill.
I'm seriously scared being near those things.
They ruin no-death strikes like it's their daily job.

The fact that they can just shield bash and instant-kill in your super means they are seriously broken. It's not a matter of they will never be patched, bungie NEEDS TO PATCH them. They are broken. They are the only enemy in the game that can instant-kill, even bosses melee's can instant-kill in every content mode. 85-90% of the time they either kill you with super bash-flying splatter into a wall or they just flat out instant-kill you. Does not matter if you are in your super, full health, max resistance, etc. To reiterate, they are BROKEN, and bungie needs to fix them already. Bungie needs to play their own game to understand that they are broken, and the instant-kill glitch they have is NOT something to just leave in the game.

2 RepliesPhalanx are intended to be this way, you clearly aren't supposed to get next to an add that has a giant shield and is massive in size in comparison to you. If they didn't do this everything would be easy it's a specialty move of theirs. Every mob should have ways of fighting them, some ranged some melee. You have a gun, you use your gun. From a distance that isn't melee range. We are not in a game that requires swords & shields and magic powers.

3 RepliesNo. It's the only reason why I ever get into a boxing match with a Phalanx. Once I used my FoH on one, and he slapped me so hard mid-super that I went from the Exclusion Zone to the gate where you get to the Black Garden. Needless to say, those Minotaurs didn't see THAT one coming.

I'd rather the hit registration be fixed. I dunno how many times I'm clearly shooting the head only for "immune" to pop up

3 RepliesI struggled to get them to kill me even when I wanted them to! Farming Glitter during the Exclusion Zone level, I'd always leave one Phalanx alive so he could kill me and I'd restart. Half the time he'd swing and totally miss. The occasions he would hit me, it'd be rare that he'd hit me up against a wall. I'd literally have to stand directly in front of a wall or rock and beckon him over to get him to kill me. Usually I'd end up just chucking a grenade at my feet after he'd taken a chunk of health off me.

Thats not a bug. Thats called don't get hit. Well unless you think your body shouldn't go flying after being hit by a giant metal shield.

Bungie has already stated that this is a balance issue and they are working on it. Shotguns are to be be buffed 100%. Guardians will be able to freely prance up to phalanxes and if they lift their shields in objection guardians can respond with a swift package of double buffed buckshot to the face.
