God dammit Bungie... And damn you! Why do you keep making changes to my beautiful PVE experience because of the -blam!-ing crucible whiners!?! You are destroying the experience that I'm receiving with weapons that I worked MY ASS OFF to get!!! You think the Mythoclast is easy to get? What about the Pocket infinity?! 200 kills later from only epic enemies in a Nightfall strike, and you nerf MY WEAPON for fear that 12 year olds will cry in the crucible?! I've put up with a lot of changes, I was a day one player and I've gotten 4 characters over level 20 across hundreds of hours of play, and I've always had this game's back, but you test my patience Bungie. Your priorities are in the wrong place. After the new COD releases in November you will lose most of the fan base that you are bending over backwards for! Then guess who will be left... All of the PVE players that couldn't wait to play this for 10 years, only now you've taken a big steaming dump on us. Figure your shit out Bungie, or I'll renew my preorder for "Dying Light" and you won't see me anymore. My concerns are legitimate. I WANT THIS GAME TO SUCCEED!!! I love the experience, but you are taking the wrong side. This isn't halo, this isn't PVP paradise, at least it can't be if you really want it to last a decade. Your vision is getting trashed by your own hand. Stop it Bungie, just -blam!-ing stop...
Edit: Wow! 200 responses! I'm glad to see this issue being taken seriously from both sides! I have one thing to say to all of you PVP crybabies that claim this isn't an issue. If weapon balancing isn't the issue, if the current setup that Bungie has decided upon to nerf exotic guns are fine, then why are most crucible players using blue or lower weapons in the crucible? They aren't end game weapons, they aren't supposed to have the power to level opposition at every turn, and yet in the crucible they do! Because in the crucible the weapon itself doesn't matter, only the stats. And you say PVE players use exploits?!? We grind out and farm for DAYS just to get the weapon we want, and we use it to accomplish our goals. We want bounties, we want to complete strike after ever loving strike, nightfall, raids,
collect materials, do patrols, and we use the endgame powerful weapons as they should be used! Against waves of enemies that set out to destroy us with different burns and mission modifiers. We work our asses off in hour long boss fights and extreme representations of teamwork to EARN these weapons! The vex Mythoclast and Pocket Infinity are not "handed out" as rewards, you have to fight for them, and that is why we are so mad about this fix. It "fixes" what many believe isn't even broken in the first place.
