Trick to get exotic weapon bounties.
So far I'm two for two for getting exotic weapon bounties. My brother did the same trick and he got one as well. The trick is to save your bounties and turn them all in at the same time. Now I'm not 100% certain on this but two for two is to hard to ignore. I'm pretty sure you need to be above level 20 to unlock the chance of getting them. Also I think it wont work if you have an active weapon bountie. If this works for you let me know to see if this is truly possible. As soon as im done with this bountie I will try it again and see if it works. I have a friend thats in the midst of tring it and ill post if it works for him as well. Ps. If it dont work the first time it might work the second time.

Its random but I have 3 open thorn at void kills 56 so far invective last step weekly event and bad juju at start weekly strike and just got given another missiv that is in my inventory but I can't open yet think cos 3 active. Some turned in 1 bounty some turned in lots. Anyone want to do weekly heroic add me and message on Xbox 360 gamer tag andysivyer

Doesn't work, I turned in one crucible bounty and got the bad juju bounty. So it's random

Handed in a total of 8 at one time yesterday ( Combined 2 locations) and nothing. Turned in 5 and then 6 with my other guardians and nothing. Seems pretty random.

This has worked for me a few times. It will still work if you have an active one as well though. At least it did for me.

1 ReplyThe first time I did this it worked but that's it. The second time was last week I handed in 1 iron banner bounty and got one. Now I have the pocket and juju bounty. Pocket took forever because of those fricken rare fusions

I think the only reason this works is because for every bounty you turn in you have a small chance of an exotic bounty, saving them all up just gives you more bites at the apple at once, I don't think it really ups your chances

In my experience there is no specific way to get them. I have gotten 6 exotic bounties in the past week only because of the massive amount of bounties I turned in. It's a random drop just like anything else. I got one when I turned in one bounty and got one when I turned in nine.

Gotten them from turning in 5+ and just one. Also gotten them when I already had some. Had three at once on one character. It's just RNG. Turning in a bunch at once just puts all your odds in one little burst of time so it seems more likely to happen. But it's still the same odds.

I think OP could be right. I've done all 5 exotic bounties and got them when handing in 5-10 bounties at the same time. Re-doing PI and up to the nightfall kills section.

I've managed all of mine by turning in 3-5 at once. Granted a few were back when we only had 5, but I never had 5 done back then.

I bin off all exotic bountys too long winded for crap exotics gimme a bounty for ice beaker or G horn and il be on that

Last couple times I've handed in 10 at once and nada. Mind you I think I have done them all except Invective. May have something to do with it.

1 ReplySorry but that's just not true. As someone else has already mentioned, every bounty turn in has a small chance of giving you an exotic. When you hand in 5 at once, you are simply increasing your chance of getting one at that point. I've had 4 bounties so far, one of them was indeed when I handed in 4 at once. The other 4 were not. Also, while I was on the thorn bounty, I got a bounty for invective.

It's not a guarentee, but if I turn in 4-7 bounties at one time ill get an exotic bounty 10-15% of the time.

I've gotten four and turning them all in at once does absolutely nothing.

I almost always turn in at least 5 at a time.. I've gotten a lot of exotic bounties but it's still pretty random
