You say they "earned" it? How can you say that when 95% of the people that have one made the boss fall off an edge? Where's the challenge in using a bug in the game to get one off the most over powered guns in the game?

And what if we've done the raid legitimately on hard 4 different times and never gotten a vex but have seen 7 different people get one? Keep it in my pants until the weekly reset and do it again. No qq here bro, go out and try to get one just like the rest of us

It's a fusion rifle!!!! How can you say the it's not over powered then say you still win long range fights with it sometimes??

I win long range fights against scrubs, good players with other primaries win distance fights. It's nothing like a fusion rifle, it doesn't send out 5 shots at a time. I'm starting to think Destiny calling it a fusion rifle is a big factor behind all the cries of it being OP. I look forward to you getting one and seeing it's not the crazy OP gun you make it out to be.

Took me a total of ten hours over two saves to do two full runs on hard mode before the glitch was even made public, I got lucky getting it on my second run. I agree I'm not a fan of the glitch.

You say it's the best gun in the game short to mid range, what's the pest for long range? Snipers? Scout rifles? Or maybe even a pulse rifle? Not a lot of weapons can take some one down one on one when the player using it has half a brain. It's a noobs crutch

Any half decent auto rifle can beat it at long range. Suros, Gim Citizen, Shadow Price, Vanquisher... They're all better at range. The mythoclast isn't as stable as those guns, tho it can beat them in a mid range fire fight. When I'm playing against a smart player using an auto rifle, they see me and immediately hide and get further away before engaging. Sometimes I can still pull out a win but most of the time the auto rifle wins at longer ranges.

The thing is, it's not as overpowered as people make it out to be. It's the best gun at short-medium range(tho not too short, looking at you shotguns and fusion rifles) but gets outgunned at anything over medium range. In difficult matches I switch to my fusion rifle because I can kill quicker with it. It has it's advantages and disadvantages just like any other gun. I think now that people are actually getting them and using them they're seeing that they aren't OP and it's a lot of forum hype and youtube hype suggesting they are. As for people getting them by pushing Atheon off, it sucks, especially when you've completed the hard mode raid the legit way and got the gun but Bungie should fix the problem not go banning a ton of people. They've had a chance to fix the problem for a week or two now and haven't done or said anything, I think there would be quite a bit of backlash if they started banning everyone.

Exactly! It's stupid that the ones who cheated can continue on playing the game. I say a ban to all those who cheated is highly needed.

I have the Vex Mythoclast by earning it. This glitch needs to get fixed asap. Anyone who uses these exploits aren't good at the game so they have to cheat.

You can't ban someone when you made it possible to do what they're doing. They can only fix the problem
