This is just to see why some of you chose your name and to hear some funny stories. : )
My name really has no meaning. Well i guess it does, Smurfs are short and so am i. All the names i wanted were taken, for example, i wanted Mr. Bojangles or Mountain Man, but they were taken. So i had some friends help me decide and we came up with SmurfK1lla, dont no why.
Now Lets Hear Your Story

My GT was actually my Dad's GT, until he gave me the Xbox. blanman comes from his last name 'Blanchard.' He got a new Xbox and his new GT is 'der T un D wear.' But recently, more and more of my friends have started to call me 'Bamboo' for... certain.. reasons... So I might change it to that.

I used to work for the San Diego Zoo as one of the lead reptile specialists, before I started majoring in Astrophysics / Cosmology. I own a couple of Pit Vipers I adopted from the zoo (I have permits), Temple Pit Vipers to be specific. Probably the most compelling reason I chose this name is because of my Ball Python, which I have had for about 15 years. More loyal than any dog and always cheers me up when I'm feeling down. The "Rob" part, well thats my name silly! [Edited on 05.05.2008 1:19 PM PDT]

This is simple and effective. it stems from all of the pluug-ins you can get for Mozilla Firefox which irritate me, and when they next strike you, you'll think of me....
-
Heh. No clue =\ I don't think I'll ever understand the genesis of my name.

While sitting in the matchmaking lobby a lot of people seem confused by name, even asking if I was high when I made it. But it's really quite simple: Deviate With Nate It's delightfully subversive and contradictive at the same time, no?

I took my name out of Steven Kings magnum opus The Dark Tower. There are are trio of characters that introduce themselves as Fumalo, Femalo and Fimalo. One of the protagonists recognize the names as relating to Freudian psycology- the Id, Ego and SuperEgo respectively. The one that I most related to was the laidback peacekeeper, Fimalo the superego. Fumalo, the id, was angry and more about the base emotions. Femalo was what was left of personality. And the 117 was baecause I made the gamertag and forgot my password so I had to make another one so I just added MC's number.

My friend and I were writing a song one day that went something like this: "Come to the planet of the Mutato/Who was forged in the fires of a volcano" And it went on <_<. I guess I like the concept of a mutated potato, waddling along at ankle height .
Posted by: Hawkeye 121 Well Hawkeye I can't actually remember where that came from I think it just "came" to me one day as for the 121 it was my old racing number that I use to use, unfortunatly the GamerTag Hawkeye 121 was already taken so I had to resort to 131 instead.
Hawkeye 121 is actually my best friend. Not lying. That's really coincidental. ------------------------------- "Slaughterhouse 5" is actually a moniker taken from a novel by the late Kurt Vonnegut -- Slaughterhouse Five. It's a brilliant work about the triviality of human social constructs and the ludicrous nature of war. Jumping through time and space, the narrative deftly demonstrates both the traumatic effect of war on the mind, and the pointless effect of war in our social workings.

Rifleman Joe... Hm, I've used this name for so long I don't remember exactly why I started using it. I remember what game I started using it on easily, but don't remember the exact reason. Oh well, here goes: I had been playing the Battlefield 1942 multiplayer beta for a few weeks and wanted a more original name than "Razorback". So I sat down an stared at the Battlefields main menu for about 10 minutes trying to think of a name. Rifleman Joe randomly popped into my head and I've been using it ever since. Sorry that it's not a funny story, but I like my name and use if for literally everything. :P
