Not buying DLC can lead to it being free?
[b]Edit:[/b] through help with the community they helped me to realize it's not gold to jump to conclusions like i have in this post. At the moment i still won't orchard the dlc early until i hear reviews of it. I'm keeping my original post so you guys can see how i felt at the time. I know how dlcs work, it's just that i still feel that the game should have included the upcoming dlc rather than have it cost extra.
The DLCs that are coming out i feel [b]should be free. [/b]They clearly were going to be included in the game for free to begin with or else why would there be the glitch showing the missions, raids, and strikes in the game if it wasn't originally planned to be there.
Clearly the story has been butchered and the game just always feels as though something is missing.
I feel that bungie should make the DLC free in order to redeem themselves and to stop all the haters. [u]I myself will not be purchasing it because i didn't pay 60$ for half a game. [/u]
If anyone else wants to join me then feel free! But the game plus the DLC [b]isn't worth 95$[/b] in my opinion. Hopefully by voicing our opinions bungie will listen to us instead of the people "higher up," who were also the same people that said the consumer didn't want an in depth story, which we clearly do.
Bungie, please listen to the consumers rather than some big business.

1 ReplyYou do realise that gave developers often start with on dlc months, and sometimes year or two, in advance? It's common practice. Heck WOW had tons of assets in the original version not used that were planned for future expansions. They create the basics, map, topography, assets, etc before release, then they flesh it out and polish the dlc after release. Some teams complete their work before others, so start work on future content. You would be surprised by the amount of unused assets existing in released games.

2 RepliesMost people bough the expansion pass already due to hype, good luck with tho I personally don't mind having paid 30 dollars more for the rest regardless of what people say, I love the game.
