I own all 3 exotics, luck by my side during VoG, Nightfall, and bounties, and I have all 3 capped. TLW is boss for those quick kills during strikes, and being able to 3-shot that runner with a shotgun in the crucible with hipfire continually puts a grin on my face. Thorn had been discussed enough here, and for all that stuck through that bounty with us, we all deserve some R&R with our 2-shot-and-sit during crucible matches. But, without a doubt in my mind, Hawkmoon is the bee's knees. Yeah, it has a slower rate of fire than TLW, but the rate of precision shots to the head, from far too near, do wonders for my ego. 3 shots for knights. 1 shot for hobgoblins (Even those pesky ones on the outer perimeter during the Templar in VoG), and even that occasional 2-shot in the crucible when I get lucky with an extra damage bullet as my opener. You can't get 3k damage crits (occasionally 4k when you get that damage buff from a titan's Ward of Dawn) with those other, but less remarkable, hand cannons.
