This won't be nearly as long, but my fingers hurt, so I'll try to go fast. Phase 2: Aetheon Himself! This is it. The last boss, the big boy, the climax. Everything you worked for was to get to him , now it's your time to shine! Just like Coach Bombay and the Mighty Ducks! Everything you've done was to prepare you for this. However, this fight is much shorter than the Templar if executed correctly. He is no pushover however, His main mechanic is Slipstream. He will teleport the 3 furthest players from him into a random timeline. Once again, communication is key. The 3 players going in will either be in Mars or Venus at random. I will call them the Inside Team, and the others the Outside Team. INSIDE TEAM! There are many good combos you can use for this team, but I have found Voidwalker/Gunslinger/Relic Holder to be the most effective. The first teleport is always the hardest, as no one has a super. Immediately when teleported the relic holder must pick up the relic and begin charging for cleanses. Each planet will only have a few enemies, but they are dangerous, and if anyone dies, that could be cataclysmic. Have a 27+ pick up the relic. If they first land on Venus, have the Voidwalker take out the goblins and weaken the Minotaur for the Relic holder to take finish off. The Gunslinger must worry about the oracles spawning. If too many spawn, you all die. Fusion Rifles and Shotguns are great for the gunslinger, but the Voidwalker can use a sniper. When all the oracles are dead, your raid will get a buff called Times Vengeance, multiplying your damage on Aetheon by a lot, and constantly refreshing your super. When this buff occurs, the 3 must run to the back AFTER LEAVING THE PLANET, and shoot at Aetheon. When the buff falls off, he will use Slipstream again, and the process continues. (IF YOU LAND ON MARS FOR THE FIRST TIME, SIMPLY HURT THE 3 HOBGOBLINS ENOUGH TO MAKE THEM IMMUNE, ZTHEN HAVE THE RELIC HOLDER FINISH THEM WITH A JUMPING RT ATTACK.) After the second slipstream, you will all have full supers (except relic holder). At this point, the Voidwalker will Nova Bomb the vex below, and the Gunslinger should use its super to kill oracles (they will die to one shot. There are 7 oracles, in upgraded you have 3 shots, but the locks orbs will give you another. 3x2=6, so you really only have to worry about the very last oracle). Leave the portal, DPS Aetheon, and repeat this till he dies. OUTSIDE TEAM! The 3 not inside are in charge of making sure they return safely. Carter a Slipstream, Aetheon will stop attacking and summon Supplicants. Supplicants are harpies that will explode if you get too close. They are your priority outside of Time's Vengeance. When the insiders get teleported they must tell the outsiders where they are so the outsiders can open the portal for them to return. Remember. Mars=left. Venus=Right. You can stand on the pillars in your plates to get above the supplicants, but doing so also puts you in the open with no cover. Your main goal, the COMPLETE goal, is to keep them off the portal. Should one explode on the people exiting, you might as well kill yourself because Aetheon will kill you. Having Defender Titans outside is ideal, since they can shield themselves and others. However, while your goal is the simplest, you guys are the backbone of the fight. To put outside terms simple. Open portals, clear out supplicants, and when Time's Vengeance is activated, unload on Aetheon. If the inside team kills all the oracles inside, and outside team allows the inside team safe passage back, and both teams unload on Aetheon during Times Vengeance, he will go down. Once he is down, be sure to dance. Enjoy your new shader and/or raid gear/weapons/ship/sparrow/possible exotic. Hope this guide helps.
