(Shy Guys, Mario reference :D)
I'm not looking for a girlfriend, nor am I interested in anybody, but I've been wondering about this for a while. In those cheesy/romantic movies, the shy and nervous guy gets the girl while the confident guy is the bully and so on.
Girls always say they like a guy with confidence and that when somebody is nervous and stuttering or whatever, it's just annoying.
Women, what do you prefer?
Guys, what do you think?

Yup they do . Most shy guys freaks in bed.

Sucks that I appear shy, or "hard to read." But, it doesn't stay that way. I get more comfortable as time goes on, really quickly actually.

Edited by CTZYX: 10/9/2014 7:08:44 AMI'm shy and girls love me. Adorableness!
-
My boyfriend stutters and is really shy but yet he asked me out in the most adorable way, so yeah, i love shy guys 😍

1 ReplySome girls like shy guys, but usually the shy guy is too shy to return the favor. It's sad, really. A romantic tragedy.

12 RepliesI like my men awkward and geeky <3

Shy is not good. Guys that stutter and don't look at people when talking to them are not good. There's a big difference between quiet and shy, quiet people can be alpha in the way they talk when they do talk and actually be really confident they just don't talk to everyone.
-
7 RepliesAbsolutely not. They want to see an abusive testosterone filled alpha male who can lift 50kg with one arm. Shy guys are destined to fap all their life until they meet a blind + deaf girl.
-
Do some forum users actually like smiggyy?
-
No. Being shy is usually associated with a lack of self confidence. One can be quiet, not talking very often, and have a lot of self confidence. But that person is not shy.
-
In my opinion, if he's shy at first, I don't mind. But if it's a continuous thing where I have to make a conversation all the time or the "move" then no. It's annoying and a turn off. Movies are movies lol bad example.

4 RepliesEdited by Kitkat: 10/8/2014 9:46:43 PMIt depends how shy they are (stuttering is pretty bad) + it's not just about shyness or confidence, if a guy with a lot of confidence starts talking to me about trees I'd probably walk away xD (imo)
All girls are different, just like guys
All women like SOME confidence, too much is bad, too little is bad, you have to take it case by case
-
Some guys like confident girls. Some guys like shy girls. Same deal with girls liking boys.
-
There are women who like the kind of idiots that follow theredpill's mindset, so, yes, there are people for everybody. I would take a guess that most women like taller, stronger males who are confident because it allows them to feel secure and comfortable at a deep instinctual level and would allow them to feel that person is the best to reproduce with, but that's just a completely groundless guess based on how other species have evolved in the wild. Moreover, even if some women DO feel that way, not all of them do. There's plenty of variation out there.

2 RepliesBeing shy isn't something to be content with. You don't have to be extroverted, but you should be confident in yourself. Otherwise you can't call yourself a man. And girls want men, not little boys.
-
Because I'm cynical: romantic movies are just that, a romanticized fantasy. They do not depict real life all the time. They're stories that basically portray (for the most part) a "perfect" world, or a fantasy world. Also audiences like to see the under dog win; and as in real life shy guys are often the low man on the totem pole. It makes for a happier ending.

4 RepliesMovies are fantasies
-
I'm sure some girls do.

Some people eat their own shit, man. There are bound to be girls who like shy guys. Don't underestimate how many different types of people there are.
-
I have a very indifferent attitude that women seem to like a lot.
-
Naturally, no. Females are instinctively more attracted to confidence, as it shows means of protection. This is easier to see in wild animals. However, they're are exceptions with our evolving species where women are politically speaking suppose to be equal to men. The modern female does not need a man to protect her, as she can do it herself, and therefor she can be attracted to whatever her mind tells her she wants. By protect I do not mean like jump infront of bullets and shit by the way, I mean life support.
