Were you detecting an advantage attributed to your more powerful gear and weapons? Did the experience feel different than standard Crucible combat?

It's pretty much balanced other than 1-2 dmg diff in gunpower if it's not upgraded all the way.. Iron banner is for 20-32 however as a 31 the lowest I've seen is 29 and I did 2 more dmg than regular. However unlike normal crucible everyone seems to have the most "op" guns like thorn the last word mythoclast and what not.

Honestly a lot of disconnects (seemed like Noah's ark hit an iceberg) very unbalanced kept getting slaughter by lvl 25's even though I was a 32.

I would say it wasn't a big difference like you would expect it was different but I found myself getting outgunned by a lvl 25 while I was lvl 32

People should also be penalized reputation or at least put a time restriction on before they can play again when they leave a match early

Serious issues: You CANNOT announce when Iron Banner is going to occur. -Why? People figured out a way to cheese rank reset! Cheating-apparently it's a team effort to cheat now also. Funny how nobody on my team can God mode...ever! You have to start kicking wildly fluctuating latencies...and you have to keep them out of the event. Anyone 3 levels below you shouldn't be bale to single handedly kill you. Level advantages are a joke and equate to virtually 1 more damage on Crits. Its imperceptible. Bounties should reset every 12 hours. With all this cheating and BAD lobbies really good players with greater kd averages are having a tough time grinding through rank. It wouldn't be so bad if 2 out 3 matches weren't cheating so hard core. (Sorry, but it isn't just lag) Bounty rotation. I'm getting really sick of AR and MG headshot bounties. Its boring every day...same shit. Idea: want people to use guns they never do? Change some bounties around! All that said: the matches I played in where everyone was legit were great. We lost some, won some but we had lots of fun. But all our fun was negated each time we hit a cheating lobby... This week has caused pretty much the last page of my 7 page deep friends lists to log off. Maybe 1-2 are playing. I'm not sure that is the effect intended when launching the Iron Banner event...

1 ReplyIB is cool, the map rotation could be a bit more diverse or even have the ability to choose IB-Control, IB Doubles, IB Solo, or IB-3's for variety purposes. I think you all should add stats (leaderboard) or something along those lines. I think you should reward dedicated PvP play IB/Crucible in general (tiers) IE: LvL10 - unique weapon/armor LvL20,30. I know you guys can't implement every suggestion but please make a reasonable effort to make PvP (PvE too) a much better experience...give us the tools (weapons) with the most appropriate stats and not some useless perks. Give us better armor selections, better yet make an EXOTIC PvP que (PvE too) for those that wanna equip exotics head to toe (only in this que btw)....I like Destiny but it definitely use a facelift (PvP/PvE)

DeeJ, when you are given [i]constructive feedback[/i], how is it you deem what [b]is[/b] and [i]what isn't[/i] constructive and worth taking to the table for Bungie Higher Ups to discuss? Cause there's been a thread called "Different Helmets provide different HUDs" that has been continuously bumped since a whole week before this games launch last year. And despite how many community contributed and supported that thread not one single Bungie Dev nor yourself have said one word in that thread nor acknowledged any of the contributing community within it. Ever. So when you don't acknowledge a thread supported by community since before the games launch, how can you expect those in that thread and others to take [u]this post[/u] thread in any level of seriousness? Note: Not one moment of anything I've just said was sarcasm, but literally out of concern for community voicing feedback in the hope of being heard.... but never even being noticed.

I like it. The suros though can three shot me when a lvl 30 is using it and I'm a 32? The thorn even though I love it is way to strong but you 're going to need it. And my hunter buddies melee bounties take forever because is such a weak melee. I wish there was always an option for PvP level advantage because it awards those who have grinder since launch pretty much. Instead of being killed in crucible by common weapons .

I have full raid gears at lvl 32 and I can't even kill some lvl 30 with full legendary gears and they're not even upgraded to 33 lights. Lool. These people at bungie's have no -blam!-ing idea what they're doing.

2 RepliesI dislike it. I hate it. It encourages cheap gameplay. Major camping. No variety at all. The rewards aren't worth it. It's glitchy and inconsistent. And people age started modding. Get rid of it.

This is the first iron banner I've played more than just a couple of matches, in order to complete some exotic weapon bounties. I'm not into crucible at all, but a lot of my clan are into it and played a few hours yesterday and today with them. I learned a lot of things. This is not on dedicated servers and still relies on p2p for hosting matches. Lag compensation is terrible (I've learned almost all of the weird things that I experienced were attributable to lag issues; no need to list them all as I'm sure we've all suffered through them). There are cheaters, hackers, and lag switchers. Skill based match making seems to rule over connection and geography. Level and weapon advantages don't seem as advertised. Corner and door camping, spawn killing, and ridiculously overpowered supers and heavy weapons take over the game halfway through every match. Activision basically copied and pasted the formula from call of duty. Every reason I left that franchise hoping for something better in destiny has infested this game. Bottom line, I wasn't happy with iron banner at all. Frankly, the rewards don't seem worth the grind and overall aggravation. Once I finish my last exotic bounty, this will likely be my last iron banner (and crucible). At least not until I hear that these numerous problems have been addressed. Just my 2 cents worth.

I enjoy IB although I don't feel it plays any different. What's gets me is that last time it was around I had to grind to lvl 4 to get boots of 33 light, now flash forward a few weeks n look the same boots but 36 light -blam!- my life an no way to just reforge them thanks a lot. I have all raid gear Im just a fan of the IB looking gear, also I've partook every time in the IB when are you going to sell a -blam!-ing helmet?
