My K/D, while NOT that great, has remained consistent.
I haven't noticed any difference in the general effectiveness of weapon rarity on damage.
My K/D, while NOT that great, has remained consistent. I haven't noticed any difference in the general effectiveness of weapon rarity on damage.

JUST FOUND a video from YouTube posted to another thread (sorry no link)... It shows that there is ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE in damage (or armor) for any weapons or levels... They are the same!
-
The only difference I've seen is that if you aren't carrying a shotgun you might as well quit now.
-
I dont notice a difference except against suros regime... in crucible I crush suros users with my hc. In iron banner the auto rifles seem a bit better (not much tho) while my legendary hc is the exact same. Still 3 shot kill Overall very uninpressed... I was looking forward to ib having some new elements but its the same thing different name

People actually die when I shoot them :p

1 ReplySomething is different. There's no way I randomly woke up with the skill to have over 1 k/d and rank 1st-3rd on my team. I usually suck at pvp.
-
Something has to be different, I refuse to think I'm simply getting better at pvp. It's noticeably easier, which goes both ways: I'm getting easier kills, but I die easier, too. If that makes sense.
-
The secret to being the MVP in the Iron Banner is to have to lowest stats. Start a new character to get starter gear, equip your starter gear on your high level character, and then you can dominate in the iron banner. Make sure you have a common fusion rifle or shotgun too lol.
-
Just played a bit, my legendary Machine Gun (Gravity-something from dead orbit) it definitely stronger in the Iron Banner!
-
There is definately a difference.
-
2 RepliesThe rewards seem to be better in regular crucible. WTF is with all the rare rewards in Iron Banner. It was more fun in the Beta.
-
As Warlock Im seeing a big difference when it comes to how much damage I can take.
-
1 ReplyMy weapons do a bit more damage, that's it. I chose the yes I'm a tank option but that's only because there was no real in between lol.
-
Yeah i noticed alot more ragequitters.
-
2 RepliesWell my sniper rifle, melee, and grenade can all kill in one shot now so yea I think there is a difference
-
2 RepliesI see no bigger damage on lvl 20s tbh. And when i get shot by a lvl 15 guy i still had to get out of the way. So something seems to be off about that lvl advantage thing if you ask me...
-
The level advantages are not handled the same way they are in pve. However I have seen gear and skill points setup to survive some rediculous moments. A good example is getting stuck by a Titan magnet grenade and surviving the initial explosion and running away in time before it goes off again. Also I believe I shrugged off a blast from a gold gun that left me with a shred of health. Keeps you on your toes.
-
I wouldn't say a tank...but I have noticed that my damage output is increase with the Pox, and it is actually useable. I also now keep more distance as I have noticed certain players in a match, take a lot more damage to drop. It's good to be able to identify them out on the field quickly. It makes me wonder if people are going into IB with the best rarity they have, and not what best fits their playstyle.
-
There isn't. The rarity is only the weapons personal up grade. Meaning exotic weapons are the only ones to have a particular upgrade. Legendaries have more frequent and not so common upgrades and so on. But the max base damage is the same. Exotics get one thing that only that exotics has...
-
Well i played on my level 3 hunter and got a 12 k/d at the end of the match. I know my gun does less damage as a level 3 but i can kill a level 29 . And walk away ...well turn round and then get ahot by someone else
-
if anything, i do much better in the "harder" pvp. i get 2.0 KD ratios all the time in iron banner but in regular crucible...lol
-
2 Repliesnope waste of time and the banner gear sucks
-
4 RepliesI've noticed my Thorn is actually useful, another than that just another day in the the Crucible
-
I've seen a Level 29 Hunter tank a Level 23 Titan's Fist of Havoc, so I'd say that's a pretty big difference. Usually it's instant death if you're in range.
-
There is a clear difference. It's not meant to be a one hit kill on a level 3 or even level 24 if your 29 but you can clearly see the time to kill is much faster and you can take one or two more rounds from them
-
5 RepliesSome games I notice a difference, some I do not. Played against the same team multiple matches in a row. Sometimes I'd be able to two-three headshot someone to death, other times it would take half to a full clip like regular crucible. On the same people too. Didn't make much sense. Wish I had recorded it.

There was a bigger difference in the Beta. In Iron Banner in the Beta Armour stats and such were actually noticeable. Titans died very slowly because of their armor, hunters were super speedy and such.
