Edited by Sylentknite: 10/8/2014 2:31:43 AMYou leveled up two classes to the mid 20s without knowing enemies had different types of shields?
-
Yes. Just hit them until the shields popped and aimed for the head
-
Shields are immune to extra headshot damage :/

Edited by Delta E27: 10/8/2014 4:06:12 AMOnce the shields went down, so the shield couldn't regenerate. Because it was dead. Edit: I've also had sniper rounds over penetrate sometimes, as well as other bullets when the shield was low, so it helps

Yep. Let's say an enemy has a blue shield aura around him. A good example is a captain. Since the shield is blue, that means arc damage will do bonus damage to it. One thing to note is that the bonus damage doesn't have any effect once the shield breaks. Captains: Blue/Arc shield Centurions: Orange/Solar shield Wizard: Orange/Solar shield Minotaur: Purple/Void shield

That's really helpful. Thank you.

Glad I could help.

Some enemies have an purple, blue, or orange glow around them. That means it's their shield and that they are weak to that damage type.
