Colorblind Option for Shielded Enemies
Hey Bungie,
Being an avid player of Destiny it is very frustrating for me to come across shielded enemies due to the fact that I'm colorblind. Solar is fine, I can see that one, but when it comes to void or arc it's impossible for me to tell the difference.
I think it'd be a great addition to the game to allow players the option to display the type of shield the enemy has on the enemy's name plate. So essentially right next to their level maybe it just shows a little arc/solar/void logo, the same ones that are used to display the damage type in your inventory, right on the screen.

I hear you bro, I have the same problem. I know from experience though what type of damage to use on which enemies. The problem is on the dust palace raid I can't tell the difference between the blue psion flare and the purple psion flare.

Another option ( I don't see Bungie adding a colourblind filter) would just be to remember the type of shield that enmities have? I feel sorry for your situation. Good luck in future times :)

Can you tell when the color of the text is off-white rather than white? If you can't tell which shield the enemy has, try using both arc and void damage, and whichever is off-white rather than white, that's the right kind of damage for that shield. Does that help? I sort of hope it does.

Thanks for this post. The first thing I do in shooters is check the settings for color blind options, super disappointed when they didn't have any!

Though I'm not color blind this would be a great addition for everyone! I would love to be reminded if I should us a different weapon against an enemy hope bungie adds this!

This is usually a very basic feature in games these days. I'm surprised they didn't incorporate it.

I sincerely agree that Bungie should help those stricken with the inability to distinguish certain colors from each other. FIX THIS NOW BUNGIE! Not barking orders here lol, just being playful. Seriously though, fix this for them.

Well shields are specific to a certain enemy I think. Like wizards are always solar, knights are always arc, minotaurs are always void etc. So maybe if you just memorize that it'll be easier for you
