Hawkmoon or The Last Word?
Just wondering which handcannon is better between the two

All these people rabble on giving u one sided feed back it truely come down to how u like to play. If ur a run and gun blink strike shotgun sort of person then u should use the hm as u can still win mid to long range gunfights. But if ur the hold back wait tight sharp shooter kind of guy the tlw cause even if u body shot with a 1000 yard to the tlw and placing one bullet in the big toe they will fall. And at close range tlw destroyed most weapon hands down. The both a good guns but are also for two different play styles.

TLW if you can aim. if you cant then go with the Hawkmoon. Sure the HM can one shot if you are insanely lucky but a good player can kill someone with a LW in 0.33 sec. Still love my hawkmoon tho <3

1 ReplyTLW will outshoot hawkmoon ANY day of the week in close quarters(sometimes mid distance), but when there is ANY bit of range involved the hawk will win.

I watched some YouTube videos with people owning in pvp with TLW. I wished for one, RNGeesus got it to me from a purple engram. I leveled it up in PVE, then gave it a go in crucible, hoping that I'll rule. I sucked big time, I had the same warlock with the same gear/specs like I saw the guys on YouTube, but after a few matches, I had to admit I am not good with it. When I play and choose random grey/green weapons, I'm decent. I had games finished on first with TLW. But I guess TLW is GREAT in Pvp IF you have SKILL. I don't have Hawkmoon, one of my friends got it in today's Nightfall, but I think TLW is a great gun. Looks exactly like the Golden gun, I've seen people owning games with it, it's great. What I found great is the spinning cowboy style animation, but when changing from special to TLW, the animation got me killed until the gun gets functional. It happened quite a few times. I'm still using it in Pvp, hoping to get better game after game.. One day, I'll post a YouTube video with me owning games. One day... :) My brutal honest opinion.

1 ReplyIf you have any skill what so ever Hawkmoon is better by far. Not even close. And it's useful in both PVE and PVP. Anyone that doesn't vote for Hawkmoon clearly has never used it or are just jealous Xbox players at the moment. The Vanguard (Devil) hand cannon is better than TLW.

The last word only has the faster fire rate but even tho, hawkmoon would still own it with the unreal damage it can do. Just wait tilll you run into someone that has it while playing iron banner. You'll wish you have it. Oh and btw, the 2 perks in it that does bonus damage CAN STACK UP ON ONE BULLET. It can one hit body shot you. P.S. I am not hating on the last word as it is a great gun too. But i do prefer hawkmoon.

1 ReplyThe hawk moon is by far my favorite gun in the entire game so far. The "clack" it makes each time you pull the trigger is oo soo sexy. In pvp 2 to the dome sends em home. This thing is literally a hand CANNON! Hand held sniper! I've got the last word. And the thorn also. But the moon is where it's at.

pve hawkmoon hands down pvp i use hawkmoon mainly because i take my targets out from distance if im going for close quarters i just blast them with a shottie sometime i get into gun fight mid range still come out on top with hawkmoon otherwise last word would be better in close quarters vsing hawkmoon with my playstyle i take enemies out with hawkmoon at long range

5 RepliesRegrettably, any Hawkmoon vs The Last Word poll will be inevitably biased toward The Last Word. Half of the player base doesn't even have access to Hawkmoon.

Cant use Hawkmoon because Xbox, but judging from the upgrades I think Hawkmoon would be pretty sick. 3 random bullets that do a lot of damage.
