There should be a way to still hit lvl 30 without having raid gear!!!
For the people who like pvp and just doin other things in the game all gear should let you get to max lvl. Or at least have a set of crucible gear that's worth more crucible marks that will get you to 30. Bungie can make the gear a little pricier so that the grind is just same as if your doin the raid! I personally like pve and pvp but I think it should be a good balance.

1 ReplyEveryone should be able to hit level 30, they should get rid of the light, and they should add different tiers of gear at level 30 be it PVP gear , STRIKE GEAR, RAID GEAR, HEROIC RAID GEAR, etc. that's really the only thing that makes since. I love this game and want it to be around for a long time, and it would if they would fix these issues. Gonna lose a lot of good dedicated players if not

Agreed, nothing against raiders but it's a bit of a bummer. There should be another method of capping out.

It is bull the only way to hit 30 is through raiding, however i feel leveling up through light stats on armor is stupid all together.

I think the simplest compromise would be to allow raid level gear (you can hit level 30) to be earned through extended skill in the Crucible. For example. So let's say you hit 15th level in Crucible rank, the system would take note and than make it an option for raid level gear to drop for you. This would appease the players who are strictly PvP and have no interest in the raid at all.

Yeah, you should also be able to get some of the best weapons ingame, when you get afk... oh wait.. thats already in... You want good gear -> Do something for it. Getting 28 is really easy. Have two chars on 28 and one on 27. I could even go 29, but have no hardmode raidgroup, so I stick to 28 until I am fully raidgeared. Raid is easy and can be done in 40 minutes with ease... so don't try to get everything for nothing.

2 RepliesOf course there should be more then just raid gear that can go to 30. I don't see why people want less in games. This game shouldn't push you in any one direction in my OP. I get that raid is hard and you should get something good for doing it. I'm just disappointed that you have to get the raid armor to get to 30. How many over sights can they possibly put in one game. Has anybody at Bungie ever played a video game before?

3 RepliesI would imagine that the Trials of Osiris gear would allow you to reach lvl 30. When that comes out...no idea. Not even sure it'll make it in lol.

Ive done the raid 26 times ive got 4 total raid items a body armor boots and a shotty and a arm band. Do the raid stop crying the number of vangard and crucible points stack at 200 for a reason. Put your grind on and not your whine.

No reason for lv30 in pvp. Iron banner doesn't change a thing.

It is a good balance that's why they do it. Because they didn't want the sole focus to be jusr crucible or just story they wanted you to work both sides of life but the raid only takes 45 minutes to a hour and a half

3 Repliesi dont think you understand how hard this stuff can be to get, iv completed the raid 5 times, 7 chancer per play threw to get raid gear so thats a total of 35 chances for me to get some gear. i have only received the chest plate once from it, and i can only do it once a week. so how could they possibly make even close to the same as far as just time consuming goes for the pvp?

If you're not doing the raid being level 30 is pretty pointless, level 29 in the iron banner is no different than 30.

I doesn't matter much now, but I am going to be pissed if the DLC introduces content that require you to be L30. Except for additional Raids, of course. Ultimately, Raids are for those who are able to plan their life around gaming. I cant do that, my gaming hours will almost always be ad-hoc, so I have little opportunity to take part in an organized raid. And I am not complaining about that. But I certainly dont hope it means that the game stops here. I still want to be able to enjoy new strikes and stories [i]without[/i] being required to be a raider.

Seriously raid gear isn't even that cool I want to reach 30 and still like the way my character looks I don't want to be forced to where something I don't like.

3 RepliesTry not to think of your level as needing to be level 30 for everything. You only really need level 30 for doing Raid on Hard mode. Plus that Raid gear that gets you to 30 is very specific to that Raid with the advantages it has on it. Normal Legendary is better in some standard PVE/PVP stuff. Those Raid bonuses are not really going to help you in standard PVE/PVP stuff. Why put on armor that gives bonuses to killing Oracle and Pretorians when you fighting Guardians and Vandals? Think outside the box.

Umm who cares about lvl 30 ?? Why are people pissy they cant reach 30 without raid gear. You can literally do everything at 28-29 and get that with gear from vendors. You sir are a neck bearded mouth breather
