I see some butt hurt here, and while that is unfortunate to get items you don't desire as this is an MMO, and if you don't have prior experience with MMO's to get what you want takes time and dedication don't expect to be lucky on the first shot. Also with this RNG loot system be happy that you are garunteed to get something, old MMO's sometimes you could go weeks of raiding without seeing an item you need drop. or the item will drop and someone else gets it as the bosses drop only so much loot.

it is an RPG where you will run into a massive ammount of players over the course of play like idk the crucible, so i dont see why you would be garunteed gear in an online rpg? this isnt COD or gunbros

Exactly, I used to raid for weeks hoping the piece of armor I needed would drop and then once it finally did, you had to roll for it, to actually obtain it. Talk about shitty and aggravating. Lol

yeah sadly the younger gamers, and i don't mean younger as age, but younger as in time in games with loot online they seem to not have had to go through the old grind of other games where you gotta try and try again, and when you feel down you got out your straw and sucked it up buttercup

Yeah exactly. I played WoW for years. It took awhile to even be able to get into the big raids because you had to have a certain gear score, or raid leaders wouldn't take you in.

still and MMO when you consider the total playerbase within the game not just your raid, go on patrol and such you will run into tons of people. and the fact is it is still a raid, so dont cry pick up your big boy pants and be glad you have a reason to go back in the VOG to try and get what you wanted once more.

oh maybe it was dyslexia then, but the title of this game is Destiny, not Halo, so while you wanted Halo from it, it does not change the fact that this is a new game series not related to halo asside from having the developer from halo.
