(DISCLAIMER: I'm not asking for charity. It's your game, do what the f'k you wanna do. But here's what I have to say about it. As always, the guilty will take offense...)
Let me tell you what happened yesterday, as me an some guys I run with were setting up to start the VOG. Keep in mind, I've played the raid a few times now and have gotten as far as the final battle but yet to win it. One guy is already at level 30, and was willing to help us 28 & 29s, but we were short one man so one of the guys messaged one of his freinds who's also a 30 and he says "I'll only play if you're playing on Hard". Now, I know it's your game and you can play how you want to, but clearly one of these guys has the right idea and one doesn't.
If you're the type who actively tries to help people with the raid, and ultimately get better at the raid, and thus have MORE people to raid with, then thank you Guardian, your courtesy is most appreciated and you help us all become stronger. But if you're like the second guy, and only "helps" when it benefits you, or doesn't help at all (like those who beat the raid and only play with others who beat it) then f'k you with greasy pipe. IDK, maybe it's because you suck at communication, maybe it's because you leeched off of your team when you beat it and are too chicken shit to assume the lead, but whatever the case may be, you conquered the so far toughest challenge that Destiny musters...so stop being bitches.
TL:DR- Props to all the max level players who help those close to reaching that level. All the rest can get a train ran on them. By trains.
Bullet Points added for people who can't bother to read the whole post:
*Raid snob was on a teammate's PSN. They've played the raid together so there's synergy.
*I have played the raid several times. Haven't beat it, but I know the mechanics.
*Everyone in the part is 28-29, adequately equipped and we only needed another trigger, not to be "carried".

It's not a level thing, it's just the selfish person. Don't blame them all.
