Screw the Thorn bounty, it sucks
I'm stuck on the void damage part, WHY IS THIS SO BULLSHITLY HARD!? IM DOING EVERYTHING VOID SNIPER,VOID FUSION RIFLE, AND I STILL CAN'T GET SHIT DONE . EVERY TIME I GET A KILL I GET KILLED 3 TIMES MORE, ITS SOOOOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING I WANT TO GOUGE OUT MY EYES WITH A SPOON

Thorns a good weapon in pvp I have not one single upgrade for it yet but I tried it in pvp and it has potential

I just had to learn to get used to a fusion rifle for awhile. I went on Skirmishes with friends until I felt confident to try on my own. I did feel my skill on PvP improve, but I still feel it's about average. Y'know. Fusion rifle. Still took me a few weeks until I had a breakthrough a few days ago. I have it on my Hunter now and I'm enjoying the feel of it.

Go buy a void hmg and a void shotty, use your void subclass if you have one, got to about 300 last night after like 10 matches, it's possible bruh

Edited by S7Oracle: 10/4/2014 3:21:52 PMIt took me about 10 games more or less to do this with a Fusion Rifle. Snipers are a bit too situational, as well as Shotguns. Fusion Rifles are that nice middle ground. Better range than a Shotgun with the continued one shot hit. And the ease to use in close quarters that the Sniper lacks (for obvious reasons). To be honest, getting this done depends less on what weapon you're using and more about how you use the weapon you have. PvP requires a great deal of patience, and due to its uncertain, unpredictable nature, knowing what's around the corner is nigh impossible. Close quarters map: Shotgun/Fusion Rifle More open map: Sniper/Fusion Rifle I stuck with the Fusion Rifle and got results, but I'm awful at sniping, and I've never got on with Shotguns, so, just use whatever you're comfortable with the most.

Use a heavy machine gun with void damage. Have a shotty or sniper (depending on map). It took me about 6 games. Shouldn't take more than 15 games really. For an exotic weapon that's not much in my book. The next portion is a bit more of a pain if you don't have somebody that's done it yet.

it should be like super good advice you kill (with head shot but it could work here too)+3 and if you touch him without killing him/her (because you die or miss or somebody steal it from you)+1

I agree it's hard but you can have a negative kd and still be fine. It took me like 10 games, maybe more. But I just ran around with a shotgun( yes I am that guy) in rumble and it was fine. The hardest part is Xyor. Though I love hand cannons so I found it worth it.

You could always get two buddy's into rumble and have them run into you over and over again feeding you kills.

Im not even very good at PvP and I'd average around 50 points per match. Try a shotgun if you're having trouble in the smaller maps. This entire bounty took me two days..its not hard.

I did the entire void part with a sniper rifle as well as that was the first time I had started playing crucible so I had a major learning curve, my best advice is go for headshots and keep moving

5 RepliesEveryone seems to hate it lol I won't bother to try for it anymore...after spending about 50 matches and only scoring 120 points I just abandoned it. Same with the shotgun bounty, I can't be bothered to pull my K/D spread up from my abysmal performance. I think it is good there are some of these heavier PvP bounties though. They at least give players who get them completed the distinction of having done something annoyingly difficult as this.

I beat it as a voidwalker with a lvl 12 fusion rifle in 6 matches

I played around 23ish matches and finished that part. Mind you I only used a void damage fusion rifle and sometimes grenades/super/melee.
