I actually tried out this method today. It took me 45 min. to earn 150 spin metal. By the end, I reached Lvl 3 in my faction, 25 crucible marks, found 3 rare engrams, 3 legendary items, 6 ascendant shards, 2 gold tier public events, and about 2k glimmer. As someone who is terrible in crucible, this will be how I begin each day. I just don't have much patience in crucible when I'm not able to do any killing. The joy of PVP for me is getting the kills, so I don't have the patience to play several matches for the purpose of earning the marks when I need them. I'll still play crucible in effort to be better or when looking to score a new item, but if I'm just needing a few crucible marks, instead of grabbing some crucible bounties, I now have a way of earning them while completing bounties for faction. I like having another way to do both at the same time. It's a perfect way to start my days on Destiny.
Also, for everyone giving him shit...I believe his post was to show a different way, not a BETTER way. It should be viewed as an alternative, something that can't be argued with since it is effective. I didn't want to play crucible today, but was still able to get the marks I needed...enough said.

I'm still rank 0 in the Crucible. I have no idea how it goes up. I do some bounties but it really goes up. Do I have to fill up the weekly bounty point ts? Or whatever it is.

Yeah if crucible gear is what you're after, purchase their class piece to help boost it. Which faction you want to rank up depends on what class you're playing as...like for me, I'm a Hunter, so I benefit more from discipline and intellect...Future War Cult specializes in those two attributes so I chose them. I could care less about my crucible or vanguard rank now. However, you need crucible marks to purchase any faction gear, so I needed a way to earn them while not going insane in crucible. It's a perfect way to earn a chunk a day when I'm not feeling PVP, which is ALOT =P

I have an issue with games were I don't read into anything and just play. I went with new Monarch because I like the colors. My main is a Hunter/gs. I want my grenades to replenish ASAP. I have the perk that replenishes my GG when I pick up ammo too. :)

New Monarch specializes in super and melee, I believe. So if grenades are what you like to use more often, you may want to consider choosing another faction. I guess I should clarify...It's more dependent on how you use the class you've chosen based on it's abilities, not necessarily that all hunters should choose FWC. I just feel the hunter's grenades and super are far more useful than a melee attack.

I don't know... I really love the Hunter's stealth abilities and the one where Blink Strike makes you cloak is good

I do too! Just for me, as it is I don't need it more frequently. It's ready and last long enough for what I use it for. That's why I say it's more based on how you use that class, not necessarily the class alone

I agree. As a gunslinger, I rarely melee. I also rarely get throwing knife kills. I've come to really like that proxy grenade. Many times I've set a trap while hiding to regain shields. :)

Yeah haha! That's my favorite ability for that subclass. If only we could mix the two and have stalker. I'd never switch subs again =P

That proxy nade is also good to get postmortem kills for the bounty. Granted it's stupid to suicide for a bounty but if you know you're going to die, stick it to a walk and run around in circles. Lol sooo stupid...

Make sure your not supporting and faction I wasn't leaving up with vanguard because I he'd my dead orbit cloak on as soon as I took it off and did a bounty I got the points for that bounty idk why it does that stupid ass hell but that might be the issue
