196 Hour Centipede Account Lockout

[b]Just as the title reads. I will continue to update this thread on the hour.[/b] [b]My Warlock has been locked out since the patch on 9/25/14. I have seen other users who were posting just as much as I was on these forums now saying that they have been fixed and able to login. Just wondering when you guys are going to fix my account and the other 1000's who are still waiting.[/b] [b]Also, if we do get a response I would like something better than telling us to check the error code centipede page. That is a lazy excuse and we want real answers.[/b] [b]Thanks.[/b]

    • Seriously disappointed in Bungie, I have not been able to get more than an hour or so of playtime since I purchased this game. constant kicks due to Monkey,Centipede and Hawk, as well as Zebra and Jackrabbit. Not to mention that it occasionally disconnects me from x-box live for no reason, without any error code. I have tried all of your port forwarding recomendations and at one point even disabled my firewall completely to be sure nothing was holding me back. I have a friend who is a networking specialist for a bank verify everything was correctly done. Still doesn't work. It is so bad that at the game store I manage I have stopped trying to sell destiny, and even begun talking people out of it. So that they don't come back upset from the sheer disappointment you are currently providing. some form of recompence should be given to your players. When Rockstar had issues with their servers for GTA-V, 500,000 was given to players to ease their disappointment. You should consider a similar avenue because I see your game getting turned in weekly for trade with the promise of never buying from Bungie again.

          • If you are unable to play one character and able to play others, log into bungie.net and navigate to your profile page. If you get the error that says, "Unable to load Destiny account. Please try again later.", then visit the following thread that I started regarding this error: [url]http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/71100906/0/0/1[/url] This is NOT something that will be fixed by any "update" that they send out. This means that our profiles are most likely corrupted and need to be fixed on the servers. I would like to get people who are having this EXACT issue to chime in, and keep bumping that thread too, so we can get Bungie's attention on that matter as well. Thanks - Peas

                Compensation for being locked out for nearly 3 weeks should be a free season pass. Otherwise I can easily say I'm never buying another bungie game ever again. It's not a wild statement, it's the truth. It's not that I would miss much since I can't play the game anyway. It's been so long now I'm pretty used to not playing it anyway which is gutting since I'm left out of my friends clan now with them all progressing. Paid a lot of money for this game, this is no standard drop out and we should therefore be compensated accordingly. Bit of a joke really.

                • Do you have grounds for getting a refund for the product not being fit for purpose? The Centipede error has just hit me (midnight last night)....see how long before I am back online.

                    I played flawless until update never saw a load screen or anything. Now the game is unplayable to me. Been lagged, long load screens and multiple errors like pumpkin and none is on my end. Since patch I have not even been able to play. After getting a data corrupt I trued 4 fresh installs then initialized system with another fresh install and still unplayable.

                  • Im only allowed to play mon-friday till evening. once night falls or the weekend hits I get centipede error like they only allow me to play between certain hours. Maybe the server gets over loaded during those hours which makes sense. Anyways I live in Central California if that makes a difference. Seems all my east coast friends have no problems. I hate centipedes now lol.

                      I still have this issue with one of my characters that has 33 strange coins in it and motes of light that I can't use! Also good legendary equipment haven't been able to get on it since 25/9 extremely annoying
