Anyone know what causes Caterpillar and Hawk errors?
I have a feeling its something to do with lag, get Hawk when I get the "loading" circle going from one area to the other sometimes. But the Caterpillar is just ridiculous. Game is fine for a few hours then its unplayable. Called Microsoft twice and my ISP and have tried just about every type of Port Forwarding, Port Triggers and put myself in a DMZ... Its not me. Its something else. But I've never been so frustrated at a game in my life. Any info would help my stress level and maybe save a Xbox 360 controllers life.

Anyone? Seems like Hawks happen in Patrol missions. Caterpillar everywhere. Get disconnected a lot when on the sparrow.

1 ReplyI Had This To Fix It Load The Game Then Make A New Character One You Do The First Part And get To The Tower It Should Be fine For all Characters. if you cant make a new character then load any character then load the first mission complete it then go to the tower your game should work fine i hope this helped

I have been having this issue from day one. I can play strikes and crucible fine for the most part. But patrol and missions and the tower. At this point im about to trade it in and tell everyone not to get it. This is just the most ridiculous thing. And the worst is the fact that i cant contact bungie. They reply to only a few of these posts. I havent been able to go on a patrol for more than 15 minutes...once that 13,14,15 minutes hit...boom caterpillar. Thanks bungie, thank god i got the 100$$ version. Makes me SUCH a satisfied fan.
