NEW Intrusion Ghost Shell
In the following days Guardians have been glitching into Kings Watch the "dlc content" that Deej claims these areas of the games simply aren't done. However following the Bungie AMA on Reddit this has popped up. Players have been getting into Kings watch. A area Bungie cut from the final game later to resell it as DLC. In Kings Watch players have been picking up a new ghost called Intrusion ghost shell. This player has it here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Legend/2/4611686018434162802/2305843009217239739 it doesn't stop there Bungie is Banning people who glitch into these areas, that have already been done prior to release and stripped from the final game that you paid for. Well there you have it further proof Bungie has cut Content from the actual release of Destiny to sell for DLC and is banning players who venture into these areas and picking up the new ghost shell.
Like many of you im very upset with Bungie that not only did Bungie Advertise a lot features that weren't in the final game. They have also stripped content that was already done prior to release to sell as DLC.
We the community have a voice let it be heard.
This is inexcusable, what is your opinion?
EDIT 1: I did a lot of Research on this and the guy modded his game to get the intrusion Ghost shell however people who bought the GHOST EDITION of Destiny got the Intrusion ghost shell legitly!

The Ghost Shell is NOT in Kings Watch, the guy moded his consoled and hacked the game to get it. As far as "glitching" how is anyone to really know what is a "hidden" area and what is a "locked" area? If you just play the game and find secrets this is not a TOS violation. Bungie is after the people who make unauthorized modifications to the game. Think of all the "lvl 10 prestige parties in COD". Simply jumping around wont get you banned.

If you come across a door/area in the game and it wont open but you manage to get past by jumping a few times until it glitches you in....how is that a bannable offence? If i jumped into an area that normally says "TURN BACK NOW" but it doesnt pop up and im able to walk far out in the map......im i to be banned? The area is in the game and these glitches are what betas/test servers are for. Also how would you know if the person thought it was a puzzle or not? Nothing there says "YOU CANT ENTER" They should have put a "TURN BACK NOW" countdown in these "locked" areas. Simple solution ^^^^

If this is DLC content it shouldn't be available on the server to access even by the means of glitching. Glitching utilizes a currently implimented game mechanic there for the mechanic should just be fixed and Bungie shouldn't ban. Is it a players fault for exploiting a game mechanic to do more? No it's not since by all terms those players are playing within the confines of the game and legally if Bungie was sued for, the court would find them guilty. Terms of Service or not if an agreement restricts a consumer from using all of a product in which obtained in addition to time of purchase then legally you have a right to access it. It is like when you buy a new car and there happened to be a spare tire or a jack in the back included, but the dealership wants to charge you extra to access that panel which is already on the car. If the content is there already you're legally allowed to get at it. Now glitching isn't a huge people did this in WoW all the time, never getting banned! It actually promoted hype for future content, which WAS FREE! Perhaps Bungie should've just made the game free and charge microtransactions because then they could legally ban for entering those areas.

Edited by Aezriel: 10/28/2014 5:52:34 AMI'd like to add that you do not get any ghost shell from any of the areas that are locked, the only way to get the intrusion shell is to hack the games coding, the reason people say its Kings watch is because the stupid person who got caught said he got it there, when clearly he did not, there are many people who have gotten the ghosts in the dlc areas, and are not banned nor did they get the ghost shell, which proves two things. 1. the person who got banned for getting the shell hacked the games coding, or did inventory glitch, it had nothing to do with the dead ghosts in the dlc areas. 2. you do not get banned for picking up ghosts in the dlc areas, nor do you get a ghost shell. (P.S. It was only one person, people need to stop acting like a lot of people are getting banned, when the only proof is that one person got banned, ONE because he was stupid)

I'm done with you all complaining about Bungie banning for getting the ghost. It's not the truth. I'm sure you read all of the stuff Bungie posts, like hot fixes and weekly updates. Do you recall the one about the loot cave? People asked Bungie if they were going to get banned from using the loot cave, and Deej replied no. Nobody is getting banned for glitching and finding items. No, these people use hacks. I spoke to my friends about the matter and they did some research on the topic. As it turns out, there is a website that sells hacks for the PS3 and PS4 that are for obtaining ghost shells. This is against the Destiny terms of use, that's why these people are getting banned. You can glitch into King's Watch all you want, it's safe. Just don't hack, that's just wrong.

Who the hell are you to say anything? Do you know how hard it is to create a game like this? Who said that it was final and done, maybe it will be different than what is already there. For all you know maybe it will be free. Who knows. Not you so shut up and if you have a problem with the game, stop bitching and get rid of it. I'm tire of you whiny brats. It's called a loss of innocents, the world isn't as giving as you thought it was and the sooner you learn this the enter its going to be.

14 RepliesIt's funny that people just blow this all out of proportion like its something new. The last two Call of Duty discs had Dlc content already installed on them. Skyrim's Home Hearth DLC was already on the disc and locked till it was released as DLC. A lot of companies do this, most have secondary teams working on DLC at the same time as the core game to speed up the DLC drop time frame. Bottom line is a lot of people built destiny up in their own minds to be the be all end all games and then when it didnt live up to their wet dreams they were having prior to release they grabbed their tinfoil hats and started pointing fingers. I personally like and enjoy destiny, if I didn't I would just scrap it and move on like I have had to do numerous times in the past with other games and more than likely in the future to. That's the price you pay sometimes for wanting to be one of the first to own the game and not wait till you can rent and test drive it or the reviews. Last but not least who really didn't see this coming. Destiny is a new game in a genera all it's own, not quite FPS and not quite MMO and not quite RPG. A game with no sequels play but an ever evolving version of the original. I will ride the train and see where it goes. Maybe just maybe I can be one of those 8 years from now telling the whiners then that they have nothing to complain about they should have been here at launch and seen it then.

Meaning that if you say anything that is hateful towards the company or release any context sensitive infromation, the company can sue you. First of all, the game is not "final" until the dlc is released. Technically. Secondly, the areas that were cut from the game were not finished, and to keep the release date from being pushed back, it was removed. I for one don't care to pay for more of the game at a later date because I am paying for a complete product, rather than an unfinished piece of crAp for 60 bucks. It's the same shit call if duty does with their dlc, everything they release, minus micro trans, were part of the original mp experience, however they either were not finished, or did not have room for them on the disc, so why complain? Your just going to -blam!-ing buy it anyway so quit bein a bitch and level up your characters for when it's released

3 RepliesI really can't wait until CoD AW comes out! At least all these whiny McWhiners will be there crying about what weapon is killing them and why everything is op in that game. Destiny has made some questionable decisions with how things are but if you can't take a new and fresh take in the new ip then go back to your same game you cry about never being different and leave the nice folks who enjoy this one alone.
